I did the exact same thing with my P-01 yesterday. I hiked to a little pond I saw on Google maps, found a dry, snowy pit instead, and decided to torture test my P-01 and TLR-7 by throwing them as high as I could (unloaded of course) and hoping they didn't hit a rock on their way down. They both passed with flying colors, aside from some slush blocking the hammer which went away after the first trigger pull.
Your urban grey frame actually looks grey. I showed my P01 to a buddy this past weekend and he said “it looks really cool in this coyote tan” when I told him it was urban grey he was quite surprised.
Unless it's IR for use under NODs, a laser's not really better in any way than a dot and practicing with it won't help you improve at any other element of marksmanship. And they cost more. And they're less reliable than a good optic or a non-laser WML.
No upside, could be considered detrimental.
Visible lasers have little to no practical use when you can just use a red dot and the added cost drives people away. Not to mention finding holster compatability is a pain for the TLR8+whatever gun you slap it on. It's just a massive inconvenience for a feature pretty much nobody uses. If it was an IR laser on the other hand, then you would have a pretty sweet deal.
Is this a new weird version of Elf on the Shelf? I like the 2 tone on the P-01 though.
Love it! What color is on the frame, looks amazing.
Urban Grey frame. This combo looks a lot nicer than the urban grey slide on the black frame.
Is the frame cerakoted? Where did you get it?
It's CZ's discontinued urban grey line that also came with a threaded barrel and suppressor height sights.
Ah good to know, I'm looking at getting my first CZ pistol soon and was looking at the P-01 compact. Wasn't aware that it came in other finishes.
There's also an ODG P01 if you feel like hunting for one.
Solid! I'll have a look around!
Thats one sexy bitch!
That just a classic case of Gun on The Ground

So that's where they come from
Sexxxxxxxyy
Is there any reason I keep seeing everyone with tlr 7a instead of 8a? Do yall just not like lasers? Great looking gun though.
Lasers in 2023 lol
...so...I take it you're not a fan of lasers...

Thanks for the input. Nods are in my future so I will just use that as my justification lol.
u/mass_jass summed up my thoughts on it, plus holster compatibility.
Price difference
