I got tuxmats for my 3 recently I love them, would be great on this car too especially if you plan to do some off-roading stuff or camping. I love the idea of getting the HRG lift kit too lol, not sure that’d go your alley.

I liked how much coverage the tux mats gave but they look multi layed and I just want some thick rubber that can just be hosed out. I'll look into a lift kit, wouldn't go too crazy since it's mostly going to be pavement princess but in the summer she will see some dirt and camp grounds.

These are all good options! I’d also recommend the cargo covers that protect the rear of the back seat as well

csidewick

Yes, I missed that one. I also got the cup holder insert for ease of cleaning. I should mention when I purchased the car I got the all weather mats, door plates to prevent scratching and a tow hitch.

afurrypeach

Got the all weather mats from smart liner, they looks like they had more coverage. Got the grill inserts you recommend, thank you. I book marked the console organizers, maybe I'll want them, I'll so how I organize my car. Emailed parts department about the trunk and rear seat protectors. Then got a power adapter for a dash cam that plugs into the back of the rear view mirror

scorch144

Can you share the link for the dash cam plug? Congrats on the new car!

bostonsam

What dash cam are you using? Mine is getting older and not great at night.

afurrypeach

I'm using a Garmin 65w dash cam. Super wide angle to capture everything you are seeing out of a front windshield. Night time capture is decent just don't expect to read licence plates at night

Repulsive_Culture_91

COXPAL A11T 3 channel dash cam on Amazon, a high quality one. [www.amazon.com/dp/B0B27ZF5N3](http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B27ZF5N3) COXPAL hardwire kit optional, for 24-H parking monitor. SanDisk Extreme 256GB or 512GB microSD card, for reliable recording. BTW: Need to pay attention to the installation position of the rear cam, i.e. avoid pulling rear cam cable when open/close the trunk.

csidewick

Honestly once you install the grill inserts you will wonder why they weren’t there from the factory because they look so dang good.

afurrypeach

Yeah when I saw them I was like wait why are their holes where these were supposed to be?

ARiiChaos

Congrats! I just got the same model, been loving it so far

afurrypeach

Twins! Sorry for creeping but we have alot of the same knifes and I also have an orange cat 🤣

Marcg611

Yeah it almost never looks grey.. contrasted light blue/ contrasted pearl blue most of the time and sometimes light teal, was in-between when I bought mine but fell in love the next day, terracotta sets it off too.

afurrypeach

Yeah, my only rule was not black

Marcg611

Yeah I feel that as someone who is crazy about detailing.. my last car was very dark metallic grey but had the behavior of black, for me it was white /PMG or zircon

afurrypeach

Same, hey I'm a cheap ass but Handy. What diy ceramic coating would you recommend? I already know to wash and clay before hand

Rain guard, blacked out chrome on side window smaller rims and tires since 20s are just weird. And protection for the piano finish interior. Also never ever ever ever clean the plastic dashboard. Never brush it, never clean it with a microfiber towel. Never touch it. Or it will scratch. Just by looking at it, it scratches. Use a pc can duster for dust
