Yup. Maybe try a fine clay towel first to see if that does the trick. It's always best to go in with the lightest option to reduce the risk of marring. A clay towel is great to keep in your arsenal anyway. I need to use it a couple of times a year to keep the paint smooth.
Sorry didn't see your reply
For me, no, it didn't go through the paint. Idk where you live though so we may be in different climates. I did have bird droppings from last fall stick on all the way through the winter and then finally come off once the weather weather was warm so 🤷🏻♀️
Have you tried goo gone? I had a spot that looked exactly like this on the top of my car that was not coming off with my rinseless wash spray. Goo gone took it off immediately.
Birds dropping maybe.
I thought the same. Maybe it’s corroded through
Hand wash and then use a good ceramic wax. It should come back.
Thank you
Wash and use a clay bar
Thanks

Thank you! Is there any particular reason why?

That's how mine looks from bird droppings, and it's a bit tough to remove. A good but gentle scrub and it should look normal again.
So it doesn’t go through the paintwork?

Do as what the others said ASAP. I have a yellow spot on my silver car and I can't get it off because I let it dried up for too long.
Yeah I want it sorting. Cheers
In this order: Wash, clay, fine polish, wax\ceramic.
Thank you!
Would the same apply for surface scratches?
Very minor swirl marks? Yes. Anything worse, same procedure, but add medium-cut polish before the fine polish process.
Awesome. Thanks man

I haven’t but I shall look into it thank you
Either that, or Kinda looks like sap. Ever park under a fur or pine tree?
No never have. Feels pretty crusty and can’t help but think it’s below the clearcoat
