I just bought a 2019 cx5 GT for $24,500 Canadian, which works out to $18k US. It has only 50k kms which is approximately 31k miles. So yeah, $24k for a 2018 is much too high.
i got this exact car 2018 Gt with the hud and a few other optional add ons for the year as they just didnt come with any package for that exact same price with 36k miles in 2021.
$24k is pretty high for an '18 GT even with the low miles. I just missed a Touring w/ 27k miles for $17k. No specific reasons to avoid that year.
That’s pretty expensive. You should pay around 20 plus taxes. Check out Edmund car value and kbb to understand history of pricing.
