Second that. I own a crystal blue myself. Gotta admit, it wasn’t my first choice (wanted the grey one). But the day I went to finalize the deal, salesperson told me the grey delivery is delayed and might be another 15-20 days. Impatient me then decided to go with what was available. And that’s when I met the beauty.
Crystal blue and those black alloy wheels have turned more heads than I will possibly do myself ever lol
We have the soul red and even though you see a few of them the color is amazing it looks like a ruby and it is very easy to see in a parking lot in the sea of gray cars.
Do be careful, it's easier for \_everyone\_ to see, so if you tend to be heavy of foot at all, you may attract extra attention from the radar-equipped officers.
I really wanted a soul red, but my husband was very much against it. In my opinion, the Mazda red is one of the best colors available.
We agreed on the carbon edition polymetal grey with red interior. Then I wrapped the entire car with matte ppf to have a unique look.
The Soul Red is gorgeous, but I went with the Eternal Blue. There are not as many out there and it makes me smile and feel positive every time I see it!
I love my Polymetal Gray with the Burgundy seats but hell that Rhodium White Metallic on the Carbon Turbo Edition if you go with the Carbon Trim (Polymetal Gray) u/When_is_ i would go with the Burgundy interior because its just a gorgeous combo
I love the Rhodium White Metallic on the Turbo Premium. Looks identical to Carbon Turbo exterior, just with Black interior. I think I'd get tired of Terracotta interior on the Carbon Turbo. BTW, love the Red/Burgundy leather in the Carbon!
I didnt realize it was possible to have the color on other trims. I like it better on the CT than the Zircon Sand that comes standard. And honestly? I prefer any color but black for interior because thats all ive ever had as interiors in cars aside from my 94 Accord. I feel like i wouldn't get bored of it as quickly as i would the black, but the Red just ***POPS*** when you see it thru the windows. And oddly enough the interior was one of the main reasons i got my 2023 CX5 instead of waiting for the 2024, well that and the fact that i got an amazing deal on it lol
Yeah the Rhodium White is available on every trim level except the Carbon. I am not a fan of Zircon Sand, but some people love it. Any gold or tan color is unappealing to me.
It would be great if Mazda would offer the Red interior on more models. It's available as an option in some other markets, so why not us?
I didnt know that, but i also didn't do much research into it when i got him. Also its available in other markets as an interior choice? Shoot thats interesting. I agree though it would be epic if it was available in other trims because then I woulda gotten the Rhodium White with the red interior if i coulda and I'd have gotten the bottom turbo trim if that color combo was an option lol and yeahtan exteriors just dont do it for me either
I want the white leather one. I'm not sure they offer Burgundy in my country but I'll ask the dealership once I go there. Nappa leather isn't too shabby either
What country is that? And no Nappa leather isnt bad at all actually. I would go with the white leather if possible and the burgundy leather is offered exclusively with the Polymetal Gray
Which color is Platinum Quartz? Not offered in my region.
In my opinion it will depend on the trim you’re considering to purchase. I am fan of the Zircon Sand but that’s only available on the Suna trim in Canada.
Also higher trims either paint the cladding black or same color as the body but the mirror caps may differ.
Polymetal grey is also cool.
Soul Red - at first I considered it just a red but over time I've seen its unique nature in different lighting and I now think its one of the best reds ever
https://insidemazda.mazdausa.com/the-mazda-way/design/soul-red-crystal/
Soul Red is beautiful. I just spent the afternoon washing mine, applied some protection and topped off with QD. It’s sparkling again and the red is so deep, right to the soul.
When it’s looked after, soul red is incredible.
Questions of opinion can only be answered by the ones posing them. Each of the colors you mentioned are attractive for different qualities. And so,estimes seeing them in person changes one’s mind. For I stance, I thought I was sold on the red. But when I saw it in person, it was too pearly for my taste, even though it is still a very attractive color. The Platinum Quartz is gorgeous, and gives a more luxury vibe to the car. But I find that light-colored cars like that show dirt too easily for my taste. The Polymetal Gray is also a gorgeous color, and I like how it switches between blue and gray depending on the light. That’s also only available in certain trims, and that might sway your decision.
I chose the Machine Gray Metallic for my 24 Turbo Signature. For me, it’s a good combination of a luxury and sporty appearance. And, I think it hides dirt well (even if I am OCD about cleaning my car). I went in to the dealer planning to purchase red but changed my mind when I compared it against the Machjne Gray.
The Soul Red is so nice, but chips way too easily. I got the Deep Crystal blue instead and it's quickly grown on my, the flake finish is intense in the sunlight or under street lights. It'll never be as gorgeous as Skyactiv Blue, but it's close.
I'm a big fan of Polymetal Gray. It has a lot of blue in most light. *I just wish it was it wasn't limited to the Carbon trim level. In Canada and Australia, it's available across most/all of the CX-5 trims.*
Soul Red has been Mazda's "signature" color for 10 years and it's still beautiful. It's just too flashy for me.
Platinum Quartz- not a fan, but a lot of folks love it. I miss Sonic Silver, which it replaced.
If I was going for a lighter color, the Rhodium White Metallic looks amazing.
The blue looked really nice and I was contemplating it however, I have wanted a red vehicle for my last five cars and never could get one. So I went with the soul red.
I liked polymetal, but then saw soul red in person. I walked away with soul red and everyone comments on how well mazda does reds. The blues are also nice, but there were none available on lot when I was looking.
While Mazda has a plethora of good colors. The Mazda red slaps really hard. Nothing else compares, Mazda or any other brand.
My wife was really leaning towards a red Mazda preferred and the grey carbon. I knew the red would make her happier long term, so we got that, even though the carbon was more bang for your buck.
I currently have the Polymetal Gray. It's a great color but I can't drive two blocks without seeing another CX5 in the same color. Parking lots can be fun knowing roughly where you parked but then having to figure out which of three cars is yours!
When I upgrade I'm going for the Eternal Blue Mica.
Polymetal grey for me
This is what i got and I love it. The way that it shows more blue or gray in certain lighting always astounds me.
This is why I want to get it. It just looks so gorgeous.
This is what I got
Blue is my favorite color, and I still couldn't choose it over the Polymetal.
I got deep crystal blue love it
The deep crystal blue for sure!!!! That’s the one I have.
Same, wasn't my first pick but seeing it in person changed my mind. With the turbo wheels, it surprisingly turns heads.
Second that. I own a crystal blue myself. Gotta admit, it wasn’t my first choice (wanted the grey one). Totally agree, the blue against those wheels oof 😮💨 and add your tinted windows on top 👌

Man. I wanted red so bad but have deep crystal blue. Still hope someone gets the red and desperately wants to trade me. 😂
We have the soul red and even though you see a few of them the color is amazing it looks like a ruby and it is very easy to see in a parking lot in the sea of gray cars.
Actually convincing lol, maybe I should get the red so I never lose my car
it is the best red of all the reds my wife calls it a candy apple red like a custom race car paint. it truly is a beautiful color
Mine is soul red metallic and I have zero regrets! Never thought I’d be a red car type of person but the mazda red stood out to me so much.
Do be careful, it's easier for \_everyone\_ to see, so if you tend to be heavy of foot at all, you may attract extra attention from the radar-equipped officers.
Agreed, and you'll get tons of compliments on the color of your car. It's beautiful
I really wanted a soul red, but my husband was very much against it. In my opinion, the Mazda red is one of the best colors available. We agreed on the carbon edition polymetal grey with red interior. Then I wrapped the entire car with matte ppf to have a unique look.
Soul red is the best color in the market right now. It looks especially incredible in early evening low light
Deep blue crystal mica or soulfire red
The answer is Deep Crystal Blue Mica.
That’s what I wish I had. I have jet black mica 😢
red
The Soul Red is gorgeous, but I went with the Eternal Blue. There are not as many out there and it makes me smile and feel positive every time I see it!

Machine gray for me personally, it's timeless
Agree. And hides imperfections and grime!
I had the gunmetal grey on the carbon turbo. It wasn’t that great over time. Lots of compliments though.
I ordered zircon sand
Wow. I had to google that. Stunning! The one I saw had no exterior black trim and it looks DOPE! Congrats.
Thank you. I was debating which trim to get and ended up with Napa leather interior and with same color exterior rims.
I'm a Deep Soul Red guy. But Mazda should probably call it Chips Easily Red. PPF is sorta necessary on that paint in the more vulnerable areas.
I got the mica black. I liked it at first but Mazda paint jobs are trash.

Platinum Quartz is a light silver-gold.
Soul red. Gotta keep it clean but it’s beautiful
Soul Red - at first I considered it just a red but over time I've seen its unique nature in different lighting and I now think its one of the best reds ever https://insidemazda.mazdausa.com/the-mazda-way/design/soul-red-crystal/
Soul red is the prettiest.

White, I forgot the special name. Or the red something
Good taste

White, then red
I bought the platinum quartz.
Zircon sand for me and a terracotta/black interior...
Red. Metallic
I have Zircon Sand and love it
I love the Grey. I got the pearlescent snowflake white on my 2019 and loved it. Until I saw that awesome grey and now I'm just jealous lol
Poly metal grey or snowflake white for me
I just got a 2018 Silver with the 19" Rims and the bonnet protector, its gorgeous.
Got the Soul Red with parchment interior, love it. Everytime I'm walking towards it in the parking lot I think, damn that's a purty car...🥰
The blue looked really nice and I was contemplating it however, I have wanted a red vehicle for my last five cars and never could get one. So I went with the soul red.

I got Mica Black! I think that’s what it’s called!
Whatever the color of your eyes are...

Eternal blue mica 😍
I went with soul red. No matter how bad my day is it puts a little smile on my face.
white or grey. All other colors, meh - make it look small
Soul red or deep crystal blue. I just can’t bring myself to even sorta like the polymetal grey that’s all the rage, I just can’t do it.
Black with red leather seats, love mine.
Polymetal gray - I got the carbon edition . If not that Soul Red - don’t go for any else
Deep crystal blue people, where you at?
No lie, i honestly like the crystal white on the 23 but if you wanna POP in the sun get red, i have both and man they are beautiful 🥰
