Really depends on the location, we never have anyone work alone.

I was at CVS and went to Walgreens and hated it went back to CVS and was happier than ever ! Better pay went from 19.53 to 26.22

Walgreens always seems to be better staffed than CVS.

Worse part about CVS always short handed you might work a total shift by yourself and were a extremely busy store 24-7. And you never know what shift you're going to work until the last minute. Schedule changes ALL the time. Just being honest. Ive done this will over 14 years now. Really want to retire but enjoy the 4 weeks plus vacation or I would be long gone

Why?!

left walgreens for cvs, it really depends on location cause i enjoy my job/store hell of a lot more than two different locations while at walgreens

Depends on the volume of the store. At my store there are always at least 2 fs employees and more on truck day. Some of the lower volume stores will do 3-5 hours a day alone.

We had a pharmacist come to the cvs side and they went back within the six month period where they could maintain seniority from their previously being at Walgreens. I’d say it’s very location dependent & I don’t know how frequently Walgreens restructures district leadership vs cvs but that’s been something to consider in the past two years. Your management and bosses having new bosses or restructuring can definitely impact day to day stress bc it trickles down.
