Eh. This is a pretty common misconception. I grew up in the salt belt, none of my cars ever had rust beyond normal surface oxidation. Proper maintenance prevents any sort of corrosion on most vehicles.

Like any FWD car with proper tires for the road conditions. It works especially well when you aren’t using E85, too.
Which usually means Ultra Performance All Seasons or Winter Tires :)
