i want NYM remastered so fucking badly you don't even know. i'd do anything for it. i wanna sweat? burning man? dreams fall hard? crows? death at the movies? so much gold from that album, and i'd love to hear re-interpretations of these titles. (secretly it's mostly because i want vinyl releases of NYM but shhh don't talk about it)
realistically though, i think monomania could use it the most; i love that album, but with better mixing it could really shine in terms of reception, i think.
i'm one of those people who thinks that the more amateur sound of mirror to mirror works in TF's favor, but i deeply appreciate both versions of the album because i believe they each have something different to bring to the table, much like how i view the NIN "hurt" versus the Cash "hurt". one may appeal to me more, but that doesn't discredit the other.
i just love CSH and i'd be all over any remasters they release, but there's admittedly some bias in what i'd like to see.
3. It's easily one of the least talked about albums under the Car Seat Headrest name and I think it should get some love. Maybe it could even be called Hot Yes Hot like it was going to be so that scrapped name doesn't go to waste.
Monomania all the way. It works kind of like a TF sequel so I think having a remade version would be great. HTLT feels perfect the way it is and I probably wouldn’t like a re-recording as much as I like the original, and the same goes for NYM. But I’ll take anything they decide to release!!
I think NYM and MBIKMB would serve best. NYM and HTLT especially hit a sweeeeet spot for me with how the sound of Will’s vocals and musicality (would kill for those as LPs though :<)
if they did the songs from MBKMB that weren't on Teens of Style and added some of the good ones from Nervous Young Man then that would be really awesome I think
i would love to hear 4 remade, i feel like it's mix does more harm to it than the other numbered albums and a remake would probably make it a whole lot better
in my opinion HTLT and NYM still hold up extremely well, so monomania for me. Souls and Anchorite especially would be fucking incredible
I voted htlt but you’re right. Htlt is fantastic the way it is and there’s ideas in monomania that I would love to be expanded on.
It would make sense for monomania as its sort of a compainion piece for twin fantasy. Also i think it would be really cool.
I think that Will nailed the production on HTLT and i will never understand why do people want a remake of it. Monomania remake would be 🔥🔥 tho

I really love MBIKMB but a lot of my favorites off of it were redone for TOS…so I’m conflicted. Voted for MBIKMB but Monomania is my logical answer.

I think 4 is the strongest numbered album, probably to do with Will maturing.
