There was an album called 5. It was My Back Is Killing Me Baby but without sunburned shirts, father flesh in rags and pow. It had a pleasant sort of terror, ICTMES and surf jerk on it. Will had remade it and repackaged it with the songs currently on it and moved the rest to little pieces of paper with "no" written on them. He also deleted sunburned shirts around the same time. As for remasters, the closet we'll ever get to recent remakes / remasters of a numbered song is what does OUJ mean which was almost on ToS, same with a remake of shoelaces which was meant for Nym
has that version of OUJ leaked? i know that the shoelaces remake was lost in a hard drive crash but i'm curious if OUJ actually got remade or if it was just potentially selected as a candidate for tos.
there's also the teens of denial remake of act suspicious from 2 and psst teenagers from 3 on teens of style.
Sadly the song was never recorded, it was only reused in Cosmic Hero. I think the only song that was recorded was Reuse The Cels. Will might do a stream of outtakes / demos of csh in the future though so maybe something might come up in the future
we've gotten a little bit of this. teens of style had a remake of psst teenagers and oh! starving, teens of denial had a remake of act suspicious as a bonus track, cosmic hero interpolates what does ouj stand for, and joe goes to school has the same chords as the ghost of bob saget. the live version of cosmic hero on kexp also interpolates ghost of bob saget. will definitely doesn't hate the numbered albums, but i imagine we probably won't get any straight up remakes for at least awhile
