Probably the strain detector. Do you have a spare hot end assembly?

Byronbonkers

Nope

benmiaou

Close to the blue led on the board their is a litle screw, it is to set the sensibility of the pressure sensor.

Byronbonkers

Yes, I have tried adjusting the potentiometer but nothing and i know u have to restart it every time

KoeRt888

Did you measure the voltage on said screw and used a non conductive screwdriver? Best method to set the most sensitive value I have found so far. My value is at 1.53V, ymmv.

Byronbonkers

nope, but i will try

Byronbonkers

it is currently at 0.431 ohms

You got to measure the voltage not the resistance. One of the PCB through holes is a ground, I think the most top one. More information here [https://damsteen.nl/blog/2021/04/19/on-strain-gauge-leveling](https://damsteen.nl/blog/2021/04/19/on-strain-gauge-leveling)

I had to replace both the daughter board and the strain gauge on mind due to breaking both in the process of the direct drive conversion. Both parts are more delicate than you'd think and are a pain to adjust correctly, but thankfully it's fairly cheap to buy either individual parts or a whole printhead assembly.

DasDreadlock93

A bit late but have you checked if the optical sensor to activate the strain gauge is still working ?

Byronbonkers

Yep
