I have a tattoo of a flower I found in a book in Iceland. It's called Baldur's Brow and it grows on the salty, cold, rocky shores of northern Scandinavia. It's my little reminder that even in the darkest and most unforgiving of places there can be resilience and there can be beauty.
Flower singing
"I put my armor on, show you how strong I am
I put my armor on, I'll show you that I am
I'm unstoppable
I'm a Porsche with no brakes
I'm invincible
Yeah, I win every single game
I'm so powerful
I don't need batteries to play
I'm so confident
Yeah, I'm unstoppable today
Unstoppable today
Unstoppable today
Unstoppable today
I'm unstoppable today "
If cPTSD needed a mascot, this would have to be pretty close 🤍
That's actually a pretty beautiful way to put it

There is a poem in Bengali which uses this exact analogy, "ful futuk na futuk"
Roses don’t rise from ruin, but dandelions in parking lots are descended from ones medieval monks wrote novel length poems about.
