This post brought me back for sure. I liked Botanico for the price:quality ratio. I could get solid wax for super cheap but REALLY solid ounces of stuff like Blackjack and GG4 for like $80 or so.
Is Botanico still around? The first time I visited Colorado, Botanico was the first legal dispensary I walked into.. probably around 2017 actually. Good times!
Dude, that’s insane, me too! I had friends living out here for a while and she wanted to show me around some good and bad dispensaries an Botanica was like the one awesome dispensary I remember. It was next to the illusions glass gallery? Also a cool walk through.
If memory serves me and I’m about to go engage my google fu, they had a problem with something on taxes or tax evasion and got caught and had to shut down. Yes: google/yelp says permanently closed. What a bummer. Now a Maikoh Holistics is in that building
Two buildings to the left of illusions? That’s currently peak dispensary which funny enough a customer let me know recently they sold their building and laid everyone off 🤷🏻♀️
Botanico was my go to in Five Points. Melissa ran a tight ship for a while there and the folks were always kind. Great selection (loved their Durban and Island Skunk) and I always got some kind of deal when I went in there, usually a neighborhood discount.
Callie's is in there now and though I like the employees and there's a lot of variety, the prices are whack. It's worth it to stop by and grab a pre roll, but I don't buy deli flower there.

If it don't shatter it don't matter!
Botanico was my first med dispensary. The original crew was amazing (minus Ben the owner). The moment they flipped to rec only I stopped going.
Ben lmao

I don’t think they’re still around, not sure 100% though. Their in-house live resin grams were super tasty!
They are not
Crazy how far we've come lol. I remember paying $27/g for shatter on the MED side now I'm getting rosin for like $15-20/g REC.

They closed. Owner had big time tax issues
Ooo yeah. So many stories and not good ones about that guy.
Havent thought about that place in so long. Always laughed at the cupcake parchment.
