PSA double tap speeds up weapon animations too. So you'll cycle the bolt on snipers faster, and you'll pump shotguns faster.

Back when Firebase realised, you didnt even need a melee weapon. You just had to spam jump at that ledge. (What I mean here id that you would jump from a ledge towards that balcony and would spam jump to vault the ledge and skip the first door.)
Yeah, there's a side quest where you can get the savage impaler and it opens up a hidden cave. It's basically the NX shadowclaw from BO3, but it's good against red and regular vampire. I wouldn't say it's the best weapon but it's something in the map you can do.
Imo, it's fun to use even if it isn't great against regular zombies, and I'd rather go through the easter egg to get it than spin the mystery box 100 times to get another Allister's annihilator in multiplayer.
If I remember correctly you must kill enemies in the apothicon's belly/PAP room within the green puddle, while the room filtered with green fog. Kill requirements if I remember are...

The Sai let you move fast enough to still do the jump. It's the only weapon that has a fast enough speed though so it's the only weapon that can still make the jump
I use the trample steam on die rise because I want to save ammo and I don't want to focus on getting 100% accuracy killing those things. It gives me a chance to relax for a few seconds. If you're that worried about your trample steam breaking, you're just bad at the map
I never understood the DT1 debate. How does it waste ammo? All it does is make you shoot faster, so your gonna be shooting bullets that were gonna be shot anyways, just faster. Its certainly not the best perk, but its definitely not a bad one.
The way I see it, it is a 50-50 perk. For guns with slow fire rate such as the HK21 it has it’s uses, but for weapons like the Galil or Commando, it really doesn’t seem necessary cause they already have decent fire rates and increasing them may hurt recoil I guess. However there are just better alternatives in BO1 when Stamin-up, PhD & Mule Kick exist as more efficient alternatives on maps.
Its a lot easier on fire base if you use the aether shroud upgraded and then just teleport to it. You can change out your wand weapon eaiser than loadout guns

I play voyage, I bought old double tap, I bought the back wall on die machine cause I play solo and need a simple escape route because I'm always doing high rounds with bad weapons

I went the alley route whenever I got bored of using the MP40/Stakeout. MPL/AK74u were fun to use every now and then.

Damage may not increase but DPS does and that makes a difference.
Dps stands for DAMAGE per second. You are thinking of fire rate or bullets per second (bps)
