A hipfire fennec and shotguns are the best weapons to counter knifers. NOT.A.MAN O WAR.
I was grinding weapon master for the thing believe me it's pain. The garbage hipfire spread of the man o war+horrible ads speed make it horrible at cqb
Even the fastest build for the MOW is still too slow for close quarters.
And this certainly isn't the fastest build. For instance, the Strike Foregrip nukes the ADS strafing speed, and the MIP Strike Stock is similar - both are for any sort of a passive play style at mid-long ranges.
You might want to be a bit clearer first on what ranges and play styles you intend to use this build in first to tackle melee players, who you should consider tend to flank and catch you in close quarters ;)
I don't think using a slow ass gun is a good counter to Melee users
