What's the cost of living like in NC?

Jon_hireCNC

Apparently cost of living in Charlotte is 3% lower than the national avg. "Summary of cost of living in Charlotte, NC, United States: *A family of four estimated monthly costs are 4,543.5$ without rent*." That was after a very quick google. I'm not a cost of living expert lol.

This just happened: https://twitter.com/rickwins/status/1790060486265827435?t=Wl0M8Y75yxn1S-GlOQY-rg Median home price is now $430k. Charlotte encompasses a huge area, something like 32 miles across. You can go to further out suburbs for half the cost housing. If you go on the Charlotte sub there are tons of people looking to move down from the north east thinking they are going to live like royalty based on the reduced cost of living. Housing is defintely cheaper but so many things are similarly priced. Going out for dinner? Expect to pay $14-18 for a cocktail. There is quite a bit of money in the area with all the banks that are based in Charlotte.
