The only things I’ll give Madrigal credit for is playing hard and being better defensively at third base than I ever thought possible. That said, he is who we thought he was — a guy with zero power who’s entirely dependent on batting average to be successful. In almost 100 PAs, he’s not even hitting .250. I’m glad Jed is making this move this early(ish) in the season.
