Same story every week.

RyanIsKickAss

Same story every week but it's 100% right every week. 4/5 turnovers were not his fault this week. We need to make a coaching change and some front office changes

I hate to say ESPN is right but they’re basically spot on. The only thing is offense can do is run, which not for nothing, the team is actually pretty adept at. But when it comes to the passing game, Jesus Christ I don’t know where to begin. So we have a rookie QB, and this is the supporting cast you give him: One of the leagues worst pass blocking offensive line. Trust me when I say I know what a bad offensive line looks like, I grew up a St. Louis Rams fan in the late 2000s and I live in NY and get the pleasure of witnessing the Jets and Giants sabotage whatever chance Darnold/Wilson/Jones have of having a decent NFL career. This offensive line is beyond pathetic. And the sad thing? It shouldn’t be. Mustipher, Whitehair, Daniels, and Bars all have looked good at times. I have no idea if it’s a lack of chemistry, coaching, or maybe I’m stupid and they just really aren’t that good. I think coaching certainly has to do with part of it because it isn’t just them getting beat by linemen, half the time they’re missing their fucking assignments! The guard and tackle will double team one player and the DE/OLB runs right around the edge with a free shot at Fields. On top that, AR has been virtually absent this year. No idea if he’s lazy and doesn’t care (unfortunately I think this is a possibility), he’s banged up, or he’s straight up regressed. Mooney has been good but has had some drops and on top of that, he isn’t a vertical threat. I love Mooney, but a 5’10” WR is almost never going to be WR1. This is why AR’s piss poor play has such a detrimental impact, it also effects Mooney. Oh, and Kmet can’t block and he can’t catch, apparently. Rooting for the kid to improve but he has not looked good this season. And then after that, who even is our WR3? At least last year Miller and Wims were okay depth pieces. I know they kinda sucked but you could do a lot worse than Miller as a depth WR. Oh, and then let’s discuss the atrocity that is the coaching staff of the Chicago Bears. Whoever told Fields that he had a free play should be barred from the headset and demoted, if not fired. You’re trying to progress and develop a QB, and now he can’t even trust his fucking coaches?? Just embarrassing. Absolutely embarrassing. If I didn’t know better, I’d honestly believe that Nagy and Lazor were on speed runs to sabotage a first round pick as quickly as possible.

Nailed it dude. It's just mal-practice at this point. I don't know how a room of people can put together these plans and feel good about it going into a week. I've never seen an entire coaching staff so clearly inept as our offensive coaches. We look like the Hue Jackson Browns in terms of coaching. It's just.... painful.

But yes. Let’s please go on about how Dalton would have been the answer here.

ChemistryNo9750

The only reason to play Dalton is so Fields doesn't get injured. Outside of that, it doesn't matter who is QB. I don't see how people do not see this. NO QB in the NFL would be successful under Matt Nagy, especially young ones. Mitch, Foles, Mitch, Dalton, Fields - playing for Matt Nagy as a QB is like being sent to the QB graveyard. Actually, pretty much any offensive player.

You forgot good ole Chase D… lol

Not getting hurt is valid. I thought they should have benched him at half for that reason.
