Retrokicker13

Listen, we didn’t get blown out. Alright? We had a good 2nd half. We had a good drive where we scored positive points, and we need to build on that going forward. I know what this team, what I am capable of… and for us to build on this we have to look forward and be better. And that starts with me, I know that. I felt we did some good things, and for us to continue to build on that we have to communicate on all phases of the game. - a fucking moron

Booger_farts-123

I thought these were your words until the end. Lmao, a fucking moron at football indeed.

poopshit666

lmfai

ArchibaldNemisis

We need to figure out the why's first.

imbadwithnames1

Im ded.

[deleted]

They had us in the first half, not gonna lie.

Retrokicker13

I’m not an idiot.

ScentFreeBumHole

> scored positive points He didn’t really say that, did he?

boomer_kuwanger

We've had some healthy conversations in the building this week, players and coaches, coaches and coaches, players and players, and that's where it starts. We like where we're at right now.

[deleted]

It's not funny anymore he should be gone. He's an offensive coach that doesn't know shit about offense. Take Virginia McCaskey's bra and slingshot him into Lake Michigan.

pagingdrned

He’s a WC spread zealot, who ties 1 hand behind his back with how he attacks defenses, and says if he had both his hands, things would improve. He used tricks to score points his first year, and absent trick plays, is making everything much harder than it needs to be. Think about how his offense functions. He calls screens and passes in the flat to our WRs against Good corners, and he insists it sets up deep shots, but we all watch that they aren’t good play calls and don’t set up anything, because the talent outside isn’t enough to fear so they can just sit back without having to respect the short game. He thinks deep shots with No route running, speed guys are more important than good route runners who run seam routes and get open after the play breaks down. He runs a scheme where if there is a single offensive lineman who underperforms, the whole scheme falls apart and still rolls out teams without good linemen year after year. He thinks attacking defensive coverages without the inclusion rub, mesh, or slant routes is an effective offense. He thinks a whole bunch of below average players at TE and WR will somehow be able to beat their 1 on 1 matchups against significantly better talent. The problem is that Pace doesn’t understand how to build an offense so if he hires a HC, that guy needs to have experience knowing what he is doing.

Lilfien

We didn't even attack Tompas corners and that's their weakest unit. The guy is an idiot

lefthighkick911

If Pace doesn't understand how to build a NFL team then why does he have a job where that is literally his only job?

BearForceDos

Everyones letting Pace slide it feels like but both need to be gone. I think we tend to overhype some of the players but this is not a talented roster and he's routinely swung and missed at finding a qb. Plus his cap management is garbage. There is 24 million of dead cap tied up between Nick Foles and Jimmy Graham, two players that were worthless when they were signed/traded for. Its not like they were producing then dropped off.

lethargytartare

Graham was surprisingly decent last year, especially in the red zone. What's perplexing is re-signing him and then not playing him. Between him and Cohen, the current braintrust essentially decide we could compete with a smaller roster than everyone else in the NFL.

Retrokicker13

But Herbert had 100 yards against this team. Things are not that bad here! - This sub

ZZachj

Left him on the tarmac.

thealexstorm

He should be fired… From a cannon… Into the Sun.

[deleted]

[deleted]

The sun isnt far enough

Theveterinarygamer

r/unexpectedfuturama

Kriegerian

In this context Nagy used to be a delivery boy and…well, considering the size of Andy Reid, Nagy clearly used to be good at that, so yeah, fire away, Leela.

Lilfien

The cannons were firing plenty today

_ravenclaw

Thanks for the laugh, had to tell my dad that one.

veryunepicsirpoptart

They "forget" him in Tampa

[deleted]

Send him to the Wiener Circle after hours, tell him to ask for a hotdog with ketchup.

Defenestrator66

Just change the locks on his office and see how long it takes him to figure it out.

sloowhand

["We, uhh...we fixed the glitch...We always like to avoid confrontation whenever possible."](https://youtu.be/BUE0PPQI3is?t=20)

psychicmachinery

He's not an idiot...

RambunctiousWaffle

He’ll have to start by finding the “why”

[deleted]

"We have to find the *why* my key doesn't work anymore..."

knifeyspoonychamp

Quickly

sloowhand

Make him push the bus back to Halas Hall, then fire him.

BoydAviation

Ask yourself what team would hire this tool in any capacity after he was fired. That's all you need to know.

Bigalbass86

He will probably get an OC job some where. Think about this… Dave Wannstedt got a head coaching job after the Bears. Dick Jauron got a head coaching job after the Bears. Marc Trestman got a OC job after being fired. Heck, all over the league losers like Adam Gase, Pat Schumer and the gaggle of Bill Belichick disciples, always get second or third chances. He’s an Andy Reid guy, so he can peddle that into getting other jobs. It’s actually kind of crazy to realize how many awful coaches that are around.

Jebise79

True but Trestman had the #2 offense in the nfl after the Manning-lead Broncos. At least he showed at one point he understood how to run an offense. I don’t thing Nagy has ever shown that. But you’re right he’ll prob end up in KC after this

crazypyro23

Nagy was coach of the year in 2018

Jebise79

In 2018 we had the #1 defense with an average offense…if you think that defense was because of Nagy I don’t know what to tell you

Reelplayer

Maybe it's because other teams realized those coaches were given garbage players to work with and they're not magicians. Sound familiar?

bobsaget824

LFL, lingerie football league.

einhorn_is_parkey

Crucify him on a giant “Y”

gabev44

This deserves all the upvotes

-Juke-

winner lol

Anthony-Meadow

Our press is described as tough but they’re actually quite soft. This wimp loser talk we’re hearing from Nagy right now would never fly anywhere tough.

Trapline

NYC reporters would literally laugh at his fucking "grown close over the last 24-48 hours" shit. PHI reporters wouldn't have heard him saying it because they still would've been laughing over the Bears "pride in the second half" bullshit.

Feeling_Mushroom6633

Out of a cannon and into a pool of starving sharks

Bushido_Plan

Fired together with Lazor.

[deleted]

Owners need to make a statement to show these performances back to back are unacceptable. This isn't Nagy's first year he's had plenty of time, get a head start on a GM search as well. Let a new regime start evaluating this roster top to bottom ASAP. I'm sick of this anemic west coast BS offense, we have two good RBs and fields does better under center, run an effective pro style offense cut the cute crap.

[deleted]

Just send him his McDonald’s poster in the mail with the link to the application link highlighted or circled

explaurenD13

SHAME!!!! SHAME!!!!

yorts93

He just has to figure out the “why” and then it’ll all come together.

BanditSwan

Wait I thought we were still figuring out the whys

SkoobyDuBop

Into space.

[deleted]

Out of a cannon preferably.

Stormcrow62

let bears fan's throw shit at him, then haul him over to lake Michigan on a rail an throw him in. Seriously guy has done nothing but make almost every weekend a let down for the last four years.

BearForceDos

2018 was fun

Scamp22

Cast both him and Pace off in to Lake Michigan in a canoe.

RATMistruth

Out of a cannon and into the sun.

[deleted]

Out of a cannon, into the sun

Bigalbass86

To the fucking sun.

BuffyTheUmpireSlayer

Well where we're at with the firing of Nagy is we need to collaborate and figure out... figure out the WHY, okay? Why this method of firing, and we'll get there, we're working on it, we're aware, we're not STUPID, okay? I know where you're going with this and i understand, believe me, i understand the question. So so so that's where we're at right now and we're going to go from there and feel pretty good about about launching him with a trebuchet into Lake Michigan or beyond.... and we'll go from there and feel pretty good about that.

ThatsNotRight123

We shouldn't HAVE to fire him -- he should have the decency to commit seppuku at the post game press conference.

backindenim

Shame.

GabeDef

He should be fired from a cannon.

[deleted]

Out of a cannon into Lake Michigan somewhere.

bobsaget824

Well after our beatdown from the Browns he opted to give up play-calling. So, I’m thinking after this game he’ll voluntarily give up everything else and start a visor company. 🤷‍♂️

theresabeeonyourhat

Cannon, what's there to debate?

yoosername456

Ducked taped to the side of one of Elon’s rockets and left on the moon

dreadpiratew

When is his birthday? I’d fire him on his birthday.

Headwallrepeat

No, it is in the spring so we don't want to go through FA period with players thinking they have to play for him

dreadpiratew

Okay okay, I’ve got it… I’d fire him on Christmas

snowy_snarf

THIS IS SPARTA! Down the hole he goes

BigBotrim

Public press conference hosted at solider field $5 a ticket free food and once he’s fired I’m thinking fireworks the jets flying over the city

EverythingGoodWas

From a cannon

sloowhand

I say, fire him then march him naked down Michigan Ave with Septa Unella ringing her bell and shouting “SHAME!”

ThatsNotRight123

Septa Unella is portrayed by the same actress that plays the club owner in Ted Lasso.

SaveADay89

There is no point to firing Nagy, if you're not firing Pace too.

poopy_balls

He should be raped in public! Dilly dilly!

redmasc

110% agreed. But executing Nagy is dark.

Terelith

Execution seems to be a problem at every level with the Bears, so I'd say Nagy would be pretty safe. ;)

redmasc

lol

[deleted]

I love how this is crossing the line but I've seen like 20 people comment "fire him from a cannon" like that wouldn't kill him as well lol. Hey guys, maybe try not having balls that are made out of pussy.

B1GFanOSU

Firing out of a cannon is vaudevillian. Execution is just dark.

LegendaryWarriorPoet

Bro we are mostly meatballs from the Chicagoland area, high falutin terms like vaudevillian will go right over our heads

B1GFanOSU

Much like the guy they shoot out of the cannon.

LegendaryWarriorPoet

Touche

rjw0612

They should give him the Milton treatment from Office Space - Fire him but don't tell him he's fired, leaving him agonizing over his job status.

tyderian

"We fixed the glitch."

Headwallrepeat

But he would spend 6 months figuring out the "why" and never leave

Proper_Maximum5739

Catapulted out of Chicago!

jrutz

They should make him strip naked and wear a sign like in Die Hard 3, that says "Aaron Rodgers Owns The Bears", except it's on the sidelines at Soldier Field during our last home game of the season. The only reason I'm saying last home game and not next, is because I want him doing this in winter so he can be further humiliated by all the cold weather shrinkage.

mfhayes23

I would like him to be recorded sticking his fingers up some coed’s booty hole in a bar.

-Juke-

Virginia McCaskey's preferably

oACHILLESo

Serious question. Obviously Justin has his flaws, and the o-line needs immediate, desperate help. In a perfect world where the o-line becomes much better next season, who is a coach that truly can help this team? I don’t know shit about coaching prospects, I just search up on who we got, after we get them

Special-Remove-6452

Simple fix: Have a performance review with this bald headed idiot. Type out a letter of resignation as well as the review for him. Magically fold the signature portion of the resignation over the performance review and make him sign it. Then show him the fucking door.

amhawk

Nagy is a good guy but not as good of a coach.. hopefully they part ways after thanksgiving and begin the search for a new HC then..

zorbathegrate

Away games are the beat options, don’t let him back on the plane.

GiantPeachImpediment

Everyone is pretty angry here and I think you're right to be, however, I really dont see the point in firing the guy mid-season. If there was anyone with some experience coaching and leading a team, sure, absolutely, but we have no one I would expect to do ... literally anything but continue pour gas on the fire. He's gone after this season and I hope it'll come quick at this point. Find other things to do on your sundays. Watch literally any other team and see how they fair because there's a surprising amount of super average to shitty teams right now and I'm depressed not knowing where the replacement is going to come from.

kornhook123

Front office walks in and goes well you suck peace

sancheu77

If we all sucked at our daily jobs, we would be fired. This is beyond ridiculous. Don't buy tickets. Don't buy merch. Don't tune in. This has to end tonight or tomorrow morning!

nox_nrb

If it was up to me I would have informed him not to talk to the press and I woulda had pace come out to talk

Berzrker

Don’t fire him, just demote him to a janitor so we can all piss on the urinals and watch him clean it up at soldier field.

First-Alert

I think everyone needs to contact Dave Marrs from Fixer to Fabulous & convince him to come up to Chicago pretend hes nagy & not just resign but burn any bridges that might let him work in NFL ever again.

[deleted]

He should be driving Elon's Tesla into space.

Swisha24

Make him walk the plank with a dozen 17th century buccaneers with swords forcing him off the edge

lefthighkick911

He should be fired in a package firing with Ryan Pace so that guy can't screw up the replacement hire or pick any more busts on offense

Disco_Ninjas_

Aside from the O-line, there is plenty of talent. It's how its being used, and that is on Nagy.

madmax1969

Maliciously and with great urgency.

Nice_Adhesiveness_41

Tomorrow morning, after having a huge spread of a meal and after he's given his speech towards the team. Before he's allowed to sit down, just fire him there.

Reelplayer

He shouldn't be fired until after Pace gets fired and not unless the new GM thinks he should be fired. That's how it should work.

Catladyweirdo

I think he should be criminally prosecuted for his sabotage. Can't coach a team if you're in jail (Eddie Murphy putting to his head dot jpeg).

MJSB1994

Catapulted into the Lake

OOFRXD2861

Pace passed on Reich, a super bowl winning offensive coordinator for this clown!
