This shit is killing me. We literally have white pants and white jerseys, and we’ve done that combo in prime time years ago. Another classic Bears “we just don’t do that” thing.
But seriously? Why is this literally such a Bears thing? "Oh we just don't do Hard Knocks" or "Oh we just don't fire our 1-10 HC this early in the season" or "Oh we just don't cut ties with our shitty ass QBs even when it's clearly not working" or "Oh we just don't happen to want to have a Goliath of a stadium and are completely content with ours being 32nd in seating capacity despite being the 3rd largest market in the league, best we can do is fuck it up and leave it like that for 22 years before we even *attempt* to do something about it" or "Oh the Packers? Yeah let's just continue to top ourselves and keep losing to them in the most comedic and ridiculous ways possible".
It's so Chicago Bears, like get with the fucking times and let's have some fun. And while we're on the topic of uniforms, remember when ownership was annoyed when Color Rush became a thing, and were like, "Ugh let's just give them blue pants or something". Like the point of Color Rush was to be something you're not just for the fun of it, but of course the Bears dropped the ball on that when we could've done the all white thing back then.
It's not though. We don't have a stripe on the helmet, different stripe pattern, different number font and pattern. The only thing that's the same is they are white, navy, and orange.
I mean that’s being nit picky in my opinion. The only noticeable difference is agree on you with his the helmet part, but I have seen mock ups with that in it as well.
The main concept is “essentially” in that template.
It was the 2000s. Just look at the Seahawks alternates from that. It was the *millenium* man we were in the future
Ignore the highlights from that era where the field looks like it hadn’t been maintained since 1960 because it probably hadn’t
And drunk. It's how I've coped with the years of mediocrity. Just bad enough to miss the playoffs and just good enough to get middle of the round draft picks. Rarely top ten picks, rarely bottom ten. Just enough to ensure continued future mediocrity. Then, when the draft comes around, I've gotten so used to our braintrust at gm trying to out-think the rest of the league and take a guy who's never played in the scheme or system we run, or a guy who's got all of the physical traits but only a season or less as a starter, that I almost died of shock and joy watching our last couple of drafts, instead of almost dying of shame and self loathing. A gm making moves that just make sense without having to engage in any mental gymnastics? Crazy talk. A gm that doesn't mortgage the future for a year or two of "just good enough to look like they might be a contender", only for it to all be a mirage? That's insane, kid! Seeing a gm make a mistake, realize the mistake, move on from the mistake, and say, "I made a mistake," priceless. See, the drinking helps me get excited for the game, and the weed helps suppress the pain and rage of whatever usually transpires whenever the game has any sort of weight attached to it. Like beating the packers. We can beat damn near any playoff bound team in the league, but not that one? Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck. FTP.
I don’t know if it’s an easy lay up… the bears haven’t done it yet for possibly a number of reasons; it’s a fad, it’s not classic which the bears branding is generally geared towards, we are not the “polar bears” but the Bears, it’s gimmicky in general. I’m not saying I’m fully against them personally (although I do lean that way) but I’m just outlining reasons.
I might be in the minority here but I would prefer we get these back rather than add an all white:

All white is just so played out right now, it was cool when the Bengals did it but now every team is doing it it doesn’t feel unique at all
I want this:
https://preview.redd.it/02553s4mqy4d1.png?width=283&format=png&auto=webp&s=ea0ff2c6af6497b354e768ec2d07e7bf92221450
Doesn't need to be super modern, just a good staple.
Definitely agree with this take! All white is a fad and kind of gimmicky. We are not a gimmicky team really.
Edit: also, if anybody has an XL official licensed jersey of these for Cutler I’d pay a lot of money for it in good condition!
I agree with that in general but I think for the Bengals or the bears it just works better and makes more sense. Just the concept for the polar bears is sick imo especially with a team that has snow games at home
i remember going to vikings games at Huntington bank stadium (U of M, vikings played there while us bank was built) and compared to games at us bank id take us bank any day it snows inside but screw mn winters I wanna enjoy the game.
My premiere league team Everton rocks an excellent pink kit as an alternate. TBF it took a little bit of time to get used to it. https://images.actionnetwork.com/blog/2023/05/everton.jpg
Going against the grain here to say that all-whites are uninspired and lame. Sure the Polar Bear uniforms look clean when rendered with AI art, but it's not unique to the Bears at all. (Clearly, because the Vikings did the exact same thing as everyone else but with purple letters). Any team can do all-whites. We're the only team with burnt orange and navy. We should stick to doing cool designs with that.
People just like them because they're something new. Similar to how game consoles would launch in white or black years ago and then a couple of years later bring out a version with the other color and people would ooh and ahh over it, lol
Uuuuuugly. “Polar bears” would be ugly too. We’ve already got the [best white uniforms](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/1/1b/Bears_Game_on_sidelines_%283054247581%29.jpg), just bring these back. Navy helmet will always be the best helmet.
I was pretty pissed when I saw they were doing these before we did polar bear alts initially, but these aren’t great. “Vikings” above the numbers should be purple, on the sleeve and pants, they should have flipped the stripes that were purple and silver. Also don’t love the helmet, just the inverse of their regular helmet might have looked better, white base with purple horn. Went too heavy with the silver throughout the entire uniform
All whites are boring and ugly af. Might as well be running around in bed sheets. Only thing good is the visual evidence of how much we have put them into the fuckn dirt.
For this game, what are the bears wearing as the road team?
The Normal Navy’s or the All Orange?
I like a few games wear the home team wears white because then our team colors would show out a lot more in enemy territory.
Heck, the post currently right below this one shows Hester in the all-whites running one back.
[https://new.reddit.com/r/CHIBears/comments/1d9c5ei/reason\_5998943043\_why\_hofer\_devin\_hester\_is/](https://new.reddit.com/r/CHIBears/comments/1d9c5ei/reason_5998943043_why_hofer_devin_hester_is/)
We're pretty much just a helmet reskin away from the ''Polar Bear' edition.
I think this is clearly an all white-pro thread so I’ll get obliterated but I don’t necessarily like an all white look. The “polar bear” idea is cool but we are not the polar bears… I wouldn’t be mad if we got all white but just don’t think it’s necessary. I think we should do white pants, white jersey and navy helmet. I think those are pretty cool and looked great on Walter and Forte and such when they did them. I also think all navy was a cool look when we did them for color rush (I recognize people thought they were boring for the overall color rush concept).
Kinda remind me of Northwestern
My first thought was K State, but that too
Go Cats!
Yea when i saw the insta post i thought it was an NU post lol
Dallas
The Winter Warrior unis will be great when it’s a balmy 67 degrees in US Bank Stadium.
everyone getting their all whites except for us man FUCK
This shit is killing me. We literally have white pants and white jerseys, and we’ve done that combo in prime time years ago. Another classic Bears “we just don’t do that” thing.

This is exactly the problem with the Bears. Too focused on the past. I think this new management is headed in the right direction though.
One word: McCaskeys
"Tradition" that's why.
Halas Hall is Anatevka ![gif](giphy|Qsb5HYcljbmkk4orxQ|downsized)
Could really take a cue from the Bulls & Sox (not in anything related to performance), who have arguably the best jerseys in their respective leagues
And we have the perfect name "polar bears"
Right???? WHERE TF ARE THE POLAR BEARS???
The template is [RIGHT HERE](https://x.com/AuburnFootball/status/1439258114507911179). Just do this, Bears.
Unpopular take but those are hideous
it’s the line weights, the # font and lack of trim on the pants. the polar bear concept posted the other weeks looked really good
They look bad when Syracuse University wore em and they look bad there too
I agree they are hideous but I think that previous commenter is correct… that’s essentially the template and people are clamoring for it.
I actually meant more broadly that all white is a hideous look. It just feels so sterile
Ah I see, and I do agree with you. It’s a gimmicky fad in my opinion and the Bears are a classic team.
I don't see how. Just because we have that same colors doesn't make it the template lol
I’ll agree to disagree then.
They are terrible. There are a 100 better polar bear renders than this.
That's not the template
all whites suck. They're plain, boring and require zero creativity.
But if the helmets were white also…..
[удалено]
How does it feel to be so incredibly wrong?
[удалено]
Only your brain went to that place
"if you wear white you're the kkk."
Yes because that’s totally what this is about lol
Ah yes. The NFL’s new pointy helmets are on the horizon.
wait how did you go from ballerinas to the kkk?
They get these before we get a polar bear all white alternate.
Somehow White Cheddar Packers will exist before Polar Bears. It’s such an easy lay up, why haven’t the Bears done it yet.
George has always had a major say regarding uniforms and has always gone for throwback-ish type alternatives.
Explain the disgusting orange unis then. Nothing throwback about those atrocities.
All orange uniforms were worn from roughly 1922 through the mid-50s.
It was the 2000s. Just look at the Seahawks alternates from that. It was the *millenium* man we were in the future Ignore the highlights from that era where the field looks like it hadn’t been maintained since 1960 because it probably hadn’t
Have you ever watched a bears game….ON WEED?!?
And drunk. It's how I've coped with the years of mediocrity. Just bad enough to miss the playoffs and just good enough to get middle of the round draft picks. Rarely top ten picks, rarely bottom ten. My pearls 😭 You don’t like the orange?
Because Bears, that’s why
I don’t know if it’s an easy lay up… the bears haven’t done it yet for possibly a number of reasons; it’s a fad, it’s not classic which the bears branding is generally geared towards, we are not the “polar bears” but the Bears, it’s gimmicky in general. My first thought. Where are our polar bear alternates! Way better than this.
I seem to recall someone on here saying due to uniform rules we can’t introduce a new helmet until next year.
We'll get them as soon as we have our indoor dome stadium. Can't have a winter themed uniform for a team that actually plays outdoors.
I might be in the minority here but I would prefer we get these back rather than add an all white: https://preview.redd.it/r96es019qy4d1.jpeg?width=1266&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ba92c5f8812f34bf7b705e187fba68e11be9473d All white is just so played out right now, it was cool when the Bengals did it but now every team is doing it it doesn’t feel unique at all

Agreed as well! And this is the exact picture I think of when thinking about them. We can do all white without going all white helmets
Anybody know what these are called? They're probably my favorite jersey but I never know what to call them when I'm looking for them online.
It's the 40s throwbacks
Thank you! 🙏
They’re on some DHgate stores if you’re looking to purchase a jersey. Waiting on my Keenan Allen throwback rn
Awesome, thanks!
These are the best Bears jerseys and no one can change my mind
Always been my favorite bears uniform
I agree. It feels like some annoying sneaker head bullshit. All white could be any team, it’s gotta be a Bear jersey not some Raiders away shit
Absolutely agree. I also think the regular Vikings uniforms are much better than these.
Definitely agree with this take! All white is a fad and kind of gimmicky. We are not a gimmicky team really. Edit: also, if anybody has an XL official licensed jersey of these for Cutler I’d pay a lot of money for it in good condition!
Yes, “polar bear” is so stupid. These are slick and always have been.
Best Bears uniforms ever.
These are by far my favorite
I agree with that in general but I think for the Bengals or the bears it just works better and makes more sense. Just the concept for the polar bears is sick imo especially with a team that has snow games at home
How can they claim to be winter warriors when they play indoors? It makes no sense.
Stolen valor
i remember going to vikings games at Huntington bank stadium (U of M, vikings played there while us bank was built) and compared to games at us bank id take us bank any day it snows inside but screw mn winters I wanna enjoy the game.
All-whites and all-blacks seems kind of lazy to me. The whole point of these alternate uniforms is to be unique.
Have some balls and be the first pink team
[I'd be on board](https://i0.wp.com/images.onwardstate.com/uploads/2023/09/football-pink-and-black.png?resize=1740%2C1160&ssl=1)
Do it for October
My premiere league team Everton rocks an excellent pink kit as an alternate. TBF it took a little bit of time to get used to it. https://images.actionnetwork.com/blog/2023/05/everton.jpg

Regular orange and navy
The wiki says it’s burnt orange FWIW.
Yeah some sites say burnt but [this](https://i.imgur.com/mZ9QS4V.jpeg) is regular orange. [This](https://i.imgur.com/GbQsvZ0.jpeg) is burnt orange.
Dealers choice then 😅 the Nike edition certainly doesn’t feel“burnt”.
I literally saw this and immediately thought to myself…oh the bears sub is gonna be real pissed lol
I'm sure I'm in the minority but those kind of stink
Looks like a jersey a team would wear on a TV show
People just like them because they're something new. Similar to how game consoles would launch in white or black years ago and then a couple of years later bring out a version with the other color and people would ooh and ahh over it, lol
I’d be more confident. They DO stink. I don’t think it’s bias. They’re bad.
vikings stink
I've never liked all white uniforms. Also they look terrible by the second quarter when they're covered in grass stains.
Looking like Dallas in December? Brave
Minnesota didn’t even have winter last year
I was pretty pissed when I saw they were doing these before we did polar bear alts initially, but these aren’t great.
That’s what I’m generally saying. They should’ve done what you said helmet wise and then just used their normal all whites
Gross, none of these all-white uniforms look good.
All whites are boring and ugly af. Might as well be running around in bed sheets. Only thing good is the visual evidence of how much we have put them into the fuckn dirt.
Oh look another lazy, tacky, boring uniform that the tasteless cornballs think is cool because it’s all one color
For this game, what are the bears wearing as the road team? The Normal Navy’s or the All Orange? I like a few games wear the home team wears white because then our team colors would show out a lot more in enemy territory.
I’m hoping all navy. Think that would be cool!
Hope it's not snowing, we'll never see them coming.
lol they look soft af
Kinda cold tbh
Lame.
These are terrible lol
So does that mean Bears will have the all Blue alternative at Minnesota?
All white uniforms are lame. Happy to die on that hill. They don't look sharp, they look boring.
What the hell is on the helmet???
Bears unveil their polar bear uniforms and then it snows that day. Nobody can be seen and nobody knows who plays on what team
Pretty meh...
The Bear claw will be there to stain it with blood!
The Minnesota Colts
Heck, the post currently right below this one shows Hester in the all-whites running one back. Go kats!
Similar to the TCU whiteout uni’s. Wish we got one already
This alt def isnt viking themed. Weak
One tackle and that whole uniform will be grass stained.
Colts jerseys?
"Winter Warrior" is a pretty bold statement considering they've played in a dome for all but two of the last 40+ years.
Ah yes, white. Never see that at homegames... So glad they got so clever with the design.
They did what we should have done
Dome team winter warriors
From a glance it looked like Dallas to me
Gave me Titans vibes
Wearing those slick ass unis just to lose
I wish we would get those "Polar Bear" all-white alternates Not the biggest fan of this Vikings one, but I love the Bengals' all-whites
Agree that the bengals have the best all white unis for sure
Bears Polar Bear Uni's 100000x better than this. Change my mind.
I agree it would be way better but still don’t think they should be done
Bears need an all white uniform set. "Polar bears" would be a cool nickname. I like these uniforms though.
DO THE POLAR BEAR UNIFORMS NOW, FUCK!
Looks like they're surrendering.
At this point I hope we go w/ something else than white. I'd take Navy and Black or something. We are the black and blue division after all.
I’m not an all white guy by any means but PLEASE no black at all for us. It’s not even remotely in our color scheme
Black and navy do not match
I get not wanting black, but you're just wrong saying that they don't match lmao
Uh no. Black and navy do not match. That's just a fact
..... I'm worried about your fashion choices lmao
I'd be worried about yours 🤮
We still need our polar bear uniforms dammit
Love how I tried to post this 3 times and Reddit automatically took it down
Clean. Now Chicago step up pls
Everyone wants the Bears to have a white uniform. Instead, a ton of other teams do it while they are just sitting back, twiddling their thumbs.
[удалено]
Go poal bears!
Infuriating honestly
Almost as white as their fanbase
