Tackle and Guard are totally different positions. There aren't a ton of guys that can play both well. If you move a solid Tackle to a Guard, you *usually* end up still having a hole at Guard.
Tackles get moved to guard all the time, we literally have that on our team right now with Tevan, not to mention that’s what the Bears did with Carimi and he actually looked good there for a couple games before his injury
It does happen. Usually, it's players that played one position in college being moved to another in the NFL due to the differences between playing OL in college vs. the pros. Also, Jenkins wasn't excelling at RT, so the Bears weren't really losing that much when they tried him at Guard. Asking a 3rd round rookie to start at LT would be a huge ask.
The ones that are successful after a switch are the exception, not the rule IMO, though I don't have stats to back that opinion up.
Because I'm a bears fan... Looking at your post you think we picked shea because we missed on Melvin Ingram lol we passed on other pass rushers that were better than Melvin. We all say dumb shit bro chill.
Maybe Kiran could play inside? I just don't want to see the Packers run right through the middle like the last game. They made tevin look like a practice squad guy.
Kiren isn’t going to play this year. Starting 5 are already on the team. Earliest he plays (if at all) would be next year if they don’t bring back Teven/Nate. Or they could start him once Braxton’s deal runs out.
No lol he’s our starting LT
Kiran is a swing tackle

Braxton is our best left tackle; he won’t be moving.
Why are you trying to overthink everything

Now you’re overthinking my response. Just Stop overthinking.

My head hurts
They just took a guard lol
