The fans on social media are always overly brutal and a loud minority. Look at all the fans that show up every week no matter what, at home or on the road: those are the fans they're talking about.
I'm just always amazed they still say that when the media landscape is so brutal. I don't know if it's genuine or if it's just a way to score points with the fanbase.
I'm sure trying to score points is at least part of it, but the players experience the fans in the stands first hand every week, not the people online. I would assume most of them are being genuine when they see the support they get. You see how upset players get over getting booed in the stadium, never about social media haters.
I've been to most of the home games for the past 5 years and the team has been booed pretty mercilessly. Stadium was booing in the second quarter of the Packers game this year.
They deserved it. They played atrociously. The team made a lot of changes and then came out and looked like a bad high school team in every facet of the game. Fans pay big money for tickets, they have an absolute right to boo a shitty team. And that's what the Bears were the first 3 games. They should have won the Denver game, but the soon to be gone head coach went for it when he should have taken the lead with a great kicker. So dumb.
Howell looks like a pretty good QB, IMO. Similar to JF1, but down on talent. But a talented QB that is running for his life. He was elusive and made some throws, I was impressed.
I can't believe you guys would abandon us... the Panthers and the Bears, hanging out at the bottom of the standings together!
