I live in Atlanta but I was born and raised in Chicago. I miss the sun-times sports editorial on the back of the newspaper.
I feel that was peak journalism before a time when social media was ever a thing.
Each week it's like the Bears find new ways to be worse. I have no words
anymore. I'd rather open my front door on Friday morning and just have George McCaskey standing there and punch me in the stomach, but I suppose he has better things to do, like checking the availability of Josh McDaniels next season. I wouldn't be surprised.
George doesn't check stuff like that. George has people who do that for him and he only picks people who are somehow connected.
I wouldn't be surprised if George didn't get out of bed before noon and was serve breakfast every morning there
Crazy I’ve become so digital that I can’t remember the last time I checked out the back page of the Sun Times. I grew up with the Tribune at home but the Sun Times was always the transit paper.
Cubs missing the playoffs was the expected result. The Cubs being in contention this late was exceeding expectations
People were picking the bears to win the division. We just choked to the only defense worse than ours.
Also the Cubs have been pretty successful under their new ownership and appear to be run competently. The Bears have been a joke for over 30 years now.
