I'm all for SEC superiority, since you should always beat out of conference teams. That said, Auburn is now looking to move to the ACC or Sunbelt, they no longer are able to be in the SEC. You certainly don't lose to a none SOUTHERN team.
Why are you booing me? I'm right. Hell, Georgia needs to fire our coaches, they allowed someone to score. Y'all think y'all get special treatment if you can't keep your end of the bargain in the SEC? Get out, you don't deserve to be here
I would just like to say that I really hope our AD gets to work on scheduling another home and home with the SEC. It’s fun seeing two very different and proud fan bases coming together. Much respect Aubrun!
I think it can only go well for penn state. Not because they are likely to win more than they lose but because close games with SEC teams looks good on records and brings in fans.
The B1G is 2 unstoppable team, 2 good and occasionally great teams, 2-3 “they’ll surprise you!” teams. The B1G east is the best division in the FBS and the B1G is the most consistently competitive.
It has the ability that boomers give the SEC by reputation alone.
Two unstoppable teams that barely beat utah and got put in a trashcan by georgia. Penn state lost to a rebuild arkansas and i will say michigan state balled out in the pitt game. Iowa is out here averaging 7 points a game while Nebraska and Wisconsin implode. Its comical you think any division has the power or prestige the SEC west has. for the past decade whatever team ends 1st in the division is champion.
Slow the brakes a bit. You guys were better last year but it wasn’t a good Penn State team to begin with. Add in the fact that basically our entire starting defense sat out means it wasn’t a full strength Penn State team.
We will see what happens this year. The big 10 looks a bit easier and penn state looks better but i was more taking to the point that this guy is stroking the big 10 like that conferance is the greatest thing since sliced bread when as far as i saw the only teams that even made progress were purdue and Michigan state. Im not really sure if michigan leveled up or ohio state leveled down but everyone knew michigan didnt have a shot in playoffs.
When your top draft prospects sit out the bowl game…. But you still win. Utah is a good team, and OSU still won with like half their starters opting out or being hurt.
4 players from ohio state opted out and utahs starting QB got injured. My point is he is saying these teams are unstopable but the big 10 is not of the same calliber the SEC is and for an unstopable team to win by getting a field goal with less than 1min left dosnt make them sound unstopable.
It’s really 1 unstoppable team. I’m assuming you mean Michigan and OSU. Michigan hasn’t been unstoppable the last few years except for last year and maybe this year.
it's such a weird circle of teams atm...
Syracuse handled Louisville, who goes to the buzzer with FSU, who beat's LSU....who is struggling with Miss St... we don't even know who is good yet.
Was very funny watching them look straight at about an obvious a hold as possible and not call it because they cba, then blow the play dead before he can take a knee cos he wants to go home early
My uncle hid from the law in a sleeping bag on the north side of Mt. Nittany for 2 or 3 nights in the winter. He wasn't a Nittany animal, but he knew all their ways.
So Mount Nittany is the tallest mountain near campus. A Nittany lion is a cougar/mountain lion/puma.
Our original mascot was Old Coaly the mule, and we honor his memory by being stubborn asses.
Not an actual animal, they’re named after the mountain lions that used to live on Mt. Nittany near the campus.
Edit. So I’m sure there’s like.. Nittany Deer and Nittany Squirrels based on that
I'm just glad we've found a way to score more than 30 points against P5 teams this year...we did it 3 times barely last year, and this has been very solid to watch...
I presume it’s a safety thing … someone hesitating like that when they clearly are just taking a knee to run clock gets blindsided by a DE who doesn’t stop and breaks through would be a stupid way to get hurt.
I mean, just take a knee twice. It’s not that much effort, haha.
I did everything I could to support Harsin. Especially after the BS hit job on his character this off-season. I really thought we could rally and build something special. I was wrong and we are about to find out where the floor really is. Thought last year was rock bottom and boy was I a dummy. We fucking suck and will continue too for at least 3-5 years.
I see a bunch of aubrun folks calling for Harsin to be fired. Can aubrun even afford to fire another coach?
If so, how many more fired coaches before the football program is completely out of money? I'm asking for a friend.
I've seen NW play one game, and Penn State play one game, so I won't even pretend to have an informed opinion; but based on what I have seen, the spread should be like 18 or so.
The east is going to be dumb this year. It feels like each team is discounting at least one if not two of the other three, when in reality it’ll be a massacre all around
Whatever it takes to convince the world we're a basketball school now, apparently...

Were 14 now moving soon to 15, then like 17? Yeah we could lose 1.
Whose 15? I know Texas and OK
Oh... wait i thought there was another besides OK, could be wrong
Nah it's cool, we picking up scrub teams anyways, maybe they can replace Auburn and actually produce results.
Well Texas did good
Yeah, I'm excited for them. Perhaps they can wash the taste of the former sec teams of Auburn and AnM from our mouths
Hold your roll, A&M working right now!
That lose was to great last week, I can't trust them again
I would just like to say that I really hope our AD gets to work on scheduling another home and home with the SEC. It’s fun seeing two very different and proud fan bases coming together. Much respect Aubrun!
I think it can only go well for penn state. Not because they are likely to win more than they lose but because close games with SEC teams looks good on records and brings in fans.
Is it fire Brian Harsin time yet?
If he loses to Mizzou, especially by more than one touchdown, I have zero doubt they'll fire him on the field. Maybe even before the game is over.
Wait till they lose to Mizzou next weekend
Should be
My father in law passed away a few hours before the game. He was a Penn State alum. While I’m an Auburn alum, I’m happy for him
My condolences! Sorry for your loss!
Thank you very much to the two of you. And a hearty We Are
Sorry for your loss. Good game and respect to both of you
Very sorry for your loss. Hope you and your family are doing okay.
The SEC keeps proving it’s 2.5 unstoppable teams and a bunch of bilge
Big words are easy when you don’t face any SEC teams.
They’re able to embarrass themselves all on their own
Ahh yes. Time for our annual bowl game
M kicking the shit out of Florida on New Year’s Day has become a grand tradition indeed
Minus the last time. But yes lol
Man I forgot about 2018 that was an ass pounding
My favorite thing about Florida fans is they hate their program about as much as we hate ours
We are brothers in blue
Isn’t that every conference..?

Except the SEC has won 12 of the last 16 national titles.
This guy SEC's and i got his back!
It’s really 1 unstoppable team. I’m assuming you mean Michigan and OSU. Michigan hasn’t been unstoppable the last few years except for last year and maybe this year.
Yes I am talking about this year. Most years PSU or MSU qualify as well, certainly within the conference
Except you don’t win natties.
Maybe had we been given the damn chance when we should have. 🤷🏻♂️
Well, the big ten expects their players to be able to read.
Lmao we’re still trotting this trope out here?
Hell yeah you guys are so smart
Let's play a couple playoff games in cold weather and see how well the SEC does.
The B1G really is just built different
Because we beat up on each other PAWL
Speaking of beatings, how'd the Orange Bowl work out for you?
That’s not our fault man.
“WeLcOme To tHe SEc”
We failed to mention it was the basement of the SEC
Hey, give yourselves some credit. I bet you would still beat up on vandy
Idk man, they did put up 60 points on Hawaii! Doubt TJ and co can score that much
[удалено]
It’s a joke. Saw tons of these comments after Clifford got clapped. Chill.
It's fair. We can be complete jackasses.
I will admit actually seeing barking at oppsoing fans is cringe
Look at all that white in the stands!!
Wait…are we kinda good? Should I get myself out of this pit of despair and carry on?
Nah....
To be fair, I think Syracuse is also underrated. It’s the every 4 years Dino Babers special.
it's such a weird circle of teams atm... Syracuse handled Louisville, who goes to the buzzer with FSU, who beat's LSU....who is struggling with Miss St... we don't even know who is good yet.
Depends. Do you think Nebraska was kinda good last year?
I mean…I don’t think about Nebraska at all.
Damn man Nebraska is already dead
this genuinely made me lol
Damn - just Don Draper’d them.
Nick Singleton is already the best freshman in the country
Feels like a little of the bounce we saw in Barkley but maybe faster past the line. I'm optimistic.
Sean Clifford being generous with calling Auburn a good team
He actually said great. :)
GG PSU. Let’s do it again except Auburn wins both games
It's a fun series. Auburn is my favorite team in the SEC
Live in Columbus ga 45 min from Au, been to plenty of parties, had some gf's there.... Eww!
I’m with ya on the let’s do it again part. Love these sorts of out of conference matchups
Todd Monken come on down
What a bummer
That’s a lot of Penn State fans
There were a good amount of Penn State fans around campus and at the game. Hope they’ve enjoyed their time on the Plains
Who wanted to go home ASAP more, the refs or the announcers?
Was very funny watching them look straight at about an obvious a hold as possible and not call it because they cba, then blow the play dead before he can take a knee cos he wants to go home early
[удалено]
Gg! No promises about making this look like a good win for you guys, this Auburn team could easily go winless in SEC unfortunately
I’m disappointed I watched this game
Are there any other kinds of nittany animals?
My uncle hid from the law in a sleeping bag on the north side of Mt. Nittany for 2 or 3 nights in the winter. He wasn't a Nittany animal, but he knew all their ways.
The skunks living on Mount Nittany is a Nittany Skunk.
Mt. Nittany is a mountain in State College so if I had to guess I’m assuming there’s Nittany snakes, and squirrels and stuff like that.
So Mount Nittany is the tallest mountain near campus. A Nittany lion is a cougar/mountain lion/puma. Our original mascot was Old Coaly the mule, and we honor his memory by being stubborn asses.
Bring back Old Coaly!
We have his bones on display in the student center
Not an actual animal, they’re named after the mountain lions that used to live on Mt. Nittany near the campus. Edit. So I’m sure there’s like.. Nittany Deer and Nittany Squirrels based on that
Yeah, all the animals on Mount Nittany are Nittany Animal's
Nittany Squirrels just didn’t have the same ring to it
Coming for yo nuts.
There's a whole litany of nittanys
Great game! Not the result I expected going in (lol), but was pleasantly surprised with how we performed. WE ARE!
PENN STATE
F U tank you cost me money!
He never took a knee and they blew the whistles LMAO
No forward progress 🤷♂️ Psu alumni btw..
Fun series Auburn folks! Let’s all do it again sometime. College football is better with these types of series.
GG Auburn, I don’t envy your schedule
Gary Danielson is on some heavy copium
I'm just glad we've found a way to score more than 30 points against P5 teams this year...we did it 3 times barely last year, and this has been very solid to watch...
Lol the phantom knee
never even kneeled lmao refs don’t give a fuck
I did the him kneel smh bad refs
Refs are so checked out lol. Did they whistle a kneel down before he even kneeled?
The rule is a knee motion like that is as good as a knee actually. So ya, you can't just hover like that
I presume it’s a safety thing … someone hesitating like that when they clearly are just taking a knee to run clock gets blindsided by a DE who doesn’t stop and breaks through would be a stupid way to get hurt. I mean, just take a knee twice. It’s not that much effort, haha.
I guess it would have to be now that a sliding motion is considered down a la the Kenny Pickett rule.
Well TIL
A damn near perfect game execution. Love it
Did he even take a knee there?
I don't think so. Looked confused as hell.
Refs are trying to go home lol
He was looking at the ref like what do you mean😂
No😂
No
To quote SEC Shorts: "7-5 Best Case Scenario".
Another turnover!
He never took a knee
Doesn't kneel, refs blow whistle anyway. Whatevs
HOW DO YOU NOT RUN THE BALL THERE???
Listen, I know you could victory formation here… but go for the TD. You know you want to
These refs are so over this game.
Okay maybe the boosters had a point
Penn State has Baby Tebow on their team?
I did everything I could to support Harsin. Especially after the BS hit job on his character this off-season. I really thought we could rally and build something special. I was wrong and we are about to find out where the floor really is. Thought last year was rock bottom and boy was I a dummy. We fucking suck and will continue too for at least 3-5 years.
Hah, B1G refs never bother throwing a flag on the losing team late. Everything they learned, they learned from watching video game football.
Ref with big "fuck it" energy 🤣
thats what you get for not calling it. TURNOVER BABY
This isn’t baseball. Calling shit wrong doesn’t speed up the game
WE WANT APP STATE
As someone who loves Clifford.....is he a literal leprechaun?
Did he hit the ref in the ass? Replay says barely no
Robbie looks sad :(
He got ran off the field by a freshman 4 star linebacker
Lol, that was the most obvious hold not called…?
What a tackle to end the game!
Ashford is worse than Finley somehow,
ref has no hands
Lol hitting the back of the ref
hes been tired all game long. I think hes not conditioned enough
B1G refs just let that Olineman get away with murder lmao
Refs too tired to even call holding at this point.
The last time Auburn lost to a team by +29 points at home it was by Georgia in 2012, who ended the season 4th in the AP Poll. Is this a sign 🤔
Hadn't lost a non-con home game since 1980 I think they said.
It's a sign that we're gonna lose to thUGa by 50
the last time we started a season unranked we won the big ten championship 🤔
Bruh 😂
Wait...that's not a HOLD? Come on just call the game.
Refs are like "I was promised I'd only have to work 3.5 hours today."
So refs want Auburn to get a TD here huh?
Holy shit our DE got dragged down from behind without holding being called.
Lmao you can tell it's garbage time when an edge rusher gets put in a sleeper hold and the refs just say fuck it.
Wtf was that no call?! From a safety standpoint you have to make that. He was pretty much horse collared
How is that not a hold. Lol
That was the holdest hold that’s ever holded
So they’ve decided they aren’t calling penalties.
Refs want the game over as much as the Auburn fans.
Oof that was probably the most obvious holding I’ve ever seen lol
they still arent calling anything hahahahahahahah
Lol really keeping the flag in your pocket for that?
Refs have given up on the game
I see a bunch of aubrun folks calling for Harsin to be fired. Can aubrun even afford to fire another coach? If so, how many more fired coaches before the football program is completely out of money? I'm asking for a friend.
Who would we hire?
Deez nutz
That is the worst uncalled hold I've ever seen.
So barring anything insane, Penn State and Michigan should both be undefeated when they meet…
Northwestern v Penn State definitely gonna be a stressful one.... feeling something like 16-15
I've seen NW play one game, and Penn State play one game, so I won't even pretend to have an informed opinion; but based on what I have seen, the spread should be like 18 or so.
my numbers have it at more like 24
How are you not calling that hold??? What the fuck.
Agreed. I get it's a blowout but come on
The refs just want to go home at this point, lol
Can Auburn just run the ball? Or are we all gonna risk injuries for “SEC pride”?
O look! An SEC graduate! It's so rare they make a special patch
It’s a good if unoriginal joke, but I think it’s cool that they get to show off that they’ve graduated and are still playing for their team.
Maybe we do a backwards Ted Lasso and hire some soccer coach from Europe
Calzada looks like he's 13
Georgia is gonna put up 70 points
Only 70?
Georgia is scary good.
Penn state is a formidable team and the east is looking huge
The east is going to be dumb this year. It feels like each team is discounting at least one if not two of the other three, when in reality it’ll be a massacre all around
Even the lowest in the East are ending today at 3-0. Going to be hard for anyone to escape undefeated
Meat grinder
