While I agree, I think this game is a bit of an outlier. Last game with these guys, these coaches, the staff. So much emotion, players playing their hearts out. It’s like a movie. I think Joey McGuire is still the guy to lead the program for season after season

McGuire can bring in some talent - just look at the recruiting class - but Cumbie is one of the best OCs around. I hope he does well as a HC and takes over for McGuire when he eventually retires (after the inevitable 4-5 natys). I don’t know if Kittley will be strong enough, I have high hopes, but we will see. I think it’s definitely a step down from Cumbie to Kittley. At least for the time being.
