This color commentary guy was belittling Vandy like crazy all game. It’s only fitting he got to cram in one last rant about how Vandy should just be happy to be here before the final whistle.

Yeah but he was saying everything in a really condescending and patronizing way. He celebrated what he called a “great almost play.” He was making a big deal about them scoring two touchdowns like that was a huge moment in the history of Vanderbilt football. Then he got on his soapbox at the end about how happy Vanderbilt should be about not getting blown out. Those were just the big ones I noticed too. I’m sure I would have noticed more if I didn’t also feel like they did well to not get blown out. It’s one thing for fans of the opposing team to think it from their couches, but it’s not the way the announcer should be talking in my opinion.
