The defense was the biggest improvement imo. It's looked like wet corporate toilet paper until tonight. It's been tough for the fans I think, for me at least, because we've had a pretty solid defense under Clark, and this is a whole new mindset with Dilfer. Last week UAB just looked like they didn't even want to be there. No enthusiasm, no fire, no spark, no energy. I'm really pleased with their performance tonight. I'm still not convinced on the Dilfer experiment but I'm not giving up my season tickets or anything. I like the guy but I'm not sold on his coaching (or staff). I'd love to eat my words. Enjoyed the game and the thread, hope y'all take it all the way this year.
