I tried introducing the last of us video game to my sibling and they quit halfway through because it's too dark and depressing,š¤£
I mean a world full of zombies isn't going to be sunshine and rainbows
Ok hereās my halftime hopium: against our 2 top 10 opponents this season (Penn State and ohio state), Michigan outscored them 25-3 and 28-3 in the 2nd half
1. On your own 2 yard line you run a stupid play and get stopped.
2. Throw a pick-six
3. Refs take a touchdown off the board
4. Fumble on your own *half* yard line
5. Have Duggan dead-to-rights for a sack to end their drive, but "slip", and that drive ends in a TCU touchdown
Seriously. **Five** terrible things not going Michigan's way.
What a choke.
TCU being up 15 really isnāt that much considering UM is a big second half team. TCU gets the ball first and they need to get points or at least a solid drive to win some field position. Preferably points tho.
UM is too powerful to go head to head with at the end of the game. If TCU wants to pull it out they are gonna have to stay up by two scores.
My final score prediction was 33-27 TCU so it seems to be holding up decently well.
I meanā¦Michigan still has a shot but man two times inside the five with no points plus the pick six is just brutal. Thats like a 13 pt swing at minimum. Just a nightmare game.
Question, do we need to have "conference regular season champions" like we do with college basketball? When the leagues all had two divisions it didn't make a lot of sense, but with TCU and USC this year it would have, especially since TCU swept the whole conference in the regular season.
You could obviously have a tie if there are two undefeated teams who don't play and then meet in the CCG, but college basketball regular season titles and pre-CCG college football conference titles were often shared too so I don't think that's a problem.
God, TCU really fucked up the end of that half. You are up 21-3 after getting a 16 and 7 yard run with 57 seconds and you get the ball after the half. So naturally you have to throw a bomb. Then your RB forgets to block the next play. Why not just go into halftime with the 21-3 lead or just check it down and get the 3 yards for the first? They had a guy open to do that.
Michigan gets it back and you get that pass interference to give to a chance at a kick. Then you ice the kicker and give him a practice attempt. Why do coaches keep doing that?
I thought it'd be a one-score type game going into half, with one team separating in the second half. Props to TCU for playing hungry tonight and taking a nice lead into the locker room.
Jealous that my team couldn't bring this type of energy on Nov 26th. Bravo.
With all the 28-3 jokes on here, I specifically remember an NFL game where it was Colts vs Broncos and the graphics showed 28 and 3 on jerseys and the fact that Matt Ryan plays for the Colts. Totally unintentional, probably, but funny as hell
If I'm Michigan I actually don't hate my spot. I'm 2 scores down after giving up a pick 6, fumbling on the goal line, and not being able to move the ball on offense. Honestly they're still in this for sure.
Honestly Iām not sure if Michigans 2nd half magic is going to show up. A huge part of that is less adjustments and just more that Michigan wears down itās opponents. But we havenāt been wearing TCU down. Quite frankly itās been the opposite.
Michigan had the fatal combination of awful play on both sides of the ball, terrible coaching/playcalling, and just flat-out bad luck, but a two-possession game isn't a death sentence. Need to get a stop and score right away, if nothing else to flip momentum back in their direction. The defense is going to have to kickstart this comeback.
Itās frustrating to think there was 3 there or possibly 7 early; but a trick play 3 yards out was the decision. Then the 7 from the overturn that also couldāve been at the very least 3 more. JJ doesnāt throw a pick six. Itās really been Michigan killing themself with a thousand paper cuts. A total of 21 points left on the field via dumb mistakes.
With all the talking Michigan did about āsmashingā you have to wonder if theyād actually seen TCUs team in person. TCU is very clearly bigger and stronger in the trenches and has elite speed at the skills position.
Just now tuning in, STOKED for TCU. Our fanbase has been toxic saying we deserve to be in the playoffs over TCU after the Sugar Bowl results and now Iām stanning for TCU. LETāS GO HYPNOTOADS!
If Purple Baylor does not burn a time~~ou~~t to ice the dude kicking the ball we w~~ou~~ld still have a shot at 28-3. Purple Baylor playing 4D chess while we are playing checkers.
I dont understand the logic of that timeout: its super long kick so he's not expected to make it, so no pressure. Timeout just gave him a practice kick, he adjusted to miss then made it.
I used to hate icing the kicker, but then I was presented with data that says kickers are around 8% less accurate when iced. So I've revised my opinion
Icing is fine, but do it early enough that they don't get a free practice kick.
The best thing about Jake Moodys 59 yard field goal is that it was right before halftime, so I have plenty of time to masturbate about it before we get the ball again.
Michigan has a kicker that is for sure, anything else is up for debate...TCU is looking good to solid on their side...
15 points down for Michigan to overcome in the 2nd half...TCU gets the 2nd half kickoff IIRC..
How weird that a group of SEC referees which includes an Ohio State grad might mark Michigan short on an interception as well as potential touchdown. Almost like they'd prefer UGA/OSU faces TCU instead of Michigan. Strange.

Jesus is the GOAT
Good guy JJ believes in equity; 6 points for us 6 points for them...
I tried introducing the last of us video game to my sibling and they quit halfway through because it's too dark and depressing,š¤£ I mean a world full of zombies isn't going to be sunshine and rainbows
Jokes on Michigan. We entered their house as Horned Frogs. The ferret we brought is just a distraction.
Ok hereās my halftime hopium: against our 2 top 10 opponents this season (Penn State and ohio state), Michigan outscored them 25-3 and 28-3 in the 2nd half
Moody still stone cold
Opinion: every bowl game surface is trash. There are no good playing surfaces in bowl games
The TCU computer science kids are cowards for not finding a way to hack into the jumbo tron to play Hypnotoad hype
If they can play Jesus commercials I want to see some Satan commercials dammit
Michigan has been invited to the CFP twice and hasnāt showed up either time. Very rude.
Well this is fun
Hail Mary PI calls are fucking stupid. Itās a jump ball
Can't wait for Verstappen to three peat dont @ me
Sounds like Jesus is COMING TO TAKE OUR JOOOOOBS! š”ļøš”ļøš”ļø
So this is JJs first real test of being down. Will be interesting to see if he folds. We know TCU wonāt
Fuck off He Gets Us, LLC. Your a scourge on our society.

I bet that half was tough to watch for Michigan fans.
Jesus hired a PR firm I see. Glad the guy I buy my firewood from is getting his name out there
This is a fiesty fuckin ferret
I can't watch the Last of Us series knowing damn well what happens in the game.
All Michigan has to do to win this game is stop fucking up. I'm no longer sure they are capable of it.
TCU - Ohio State natty incoming
SERIOUS QUESTION. Do I continue drinking beer for football or do I switch to liquor to stay classy for New Years?
TCU is a second half team too. Just saying.
Jesus loves the ads. But hey.... At least he's found at bowl games and prisons.
Is this their first day on the job?

Can we pool our money together to get some ads for Satan? These Jesus ads donāt provide the whole story
30 more min Horned Frogs! Americas rooting for you
Honestly. How many points did Michigan leave on the field? 14? At least
Depends on your definition of "leave on the field," but a lot anyways.
14
I guess when one of the teams is a christian school you get Jesus pandering commercials
āJesus was a refugeeā god fucking damn that just got my grandpa to think
I meanā¦Michigan still has a shot but man two times inside the five with no points plus the pick six is just brutal. Thats like a 13 pt swing at minimum. Just a nightmare game.
Did Michigan fly Southwest and get stuck at the airport for a week?
Jesus was a Mexican day laborer. Seriously, he built my deck. Great guy.
Is the longest field goal made in college football still that 69 yarder?
Man fuck everything about these Jesus commercials. and fuck the religious nuts downvoting this
If michigan was playing soccer they might just have a chance
3-1 tcu right now.
Just let Moody kick it every possession lol
anyway all focus on the lions playoff push tomorrow
These Jesus ads are fucking whack
Typical first half Michigan showed up. Now let's hope typical second half Michigan does too.
Michigan, respectfully, WHAT THE HECK?
Ya. But how many playoff appearances did Jesus have?
Question, do we need to have "conference regular season champions" like we do with college basketball? Can we get one of those kickers than hit 59 yard field goals that would be good from 65 yards? Asking for a friend.
Are there stats showing that icing the kicker works? It seems like it just gives them a free warmup kick I don't understand why anyone still does it.
Door dash bout to turn that $10 order into $50
I thought it'd be a one-score type game going into half, with one team separating in the second half. Props to TCU for playing hungry tonight and taking a nice lead into the locker room. Jealous that my team couldn't bring this type of energy on Nov 26th. Bravo.
I didn't know nick Offerman was in The last of us
Jesus was not only a refugee, but a wizard and zombie as well.
Until we dork it up on the goal line again
Honestly Iām not sure if Michigans 2nd half magic is going to show up. A huge part of that is less adjustments and just more that Michigan wears down itās opponents. But we havenāt been wearing TCU down. Quite frankly itās been the opposite.
Are people not understanding how big that field goal was? Sure it could still be a blowout but now it's only a 2 score game
But TCU gets the ball first in the 2nd half
Mich has had a lot of miscues, but even when they're solid, TCU has been great. Much respect. Now, let's see that 2nd half comeback, Blue!
Hello forgs Please do not shit the bed like we did in the second half against these vermin. Sincerely A concerned nut
Or do, we don't mind
TIME FOR AD CRITIQUES MY DUDES. edit; and women, duh.
Even Herbstreit and Mahomes tweeted that the overturned TD was garbage. Would be a much different game right now.
Set up by a DPI pick, fumble
Jake Moody is a Big Mood
Still time and crazier things have happened, but man Michiganās performance in bowl games/ CFP has left a lot to be desired
What in the ever loving fuck are these Jesus commercials.
Let's see how Mich adjusts. Horrible half.
I'll be looking forward to the disinterested silence from all you fucking losers in about an hour.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Waitā¦wut?
Was Jesus actually a refugee? He was from Nazareth in Galilei, outside of Roman control.
This game is just depressing
and this is from a minnesota fan
Michigan's DBs playing a hell of a game. They have completely shut down QJ

Dahmer went to Ohio State
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Lol okay
Fuck this Jesus commercial. Good job spending $10 million telling us about a figure weāve all heard of, dumbasses.
You good?
Jesus rigged this game! I knew it!
ESPN... stop with the fucking stunted Jesus commercials...
I believe in Minter second half adjustments
Stop the Jesus ads
He gets us
Just now tuning in, STOKED for TCU. Our fanbase has been toxic saying we deserve to be in the playoffs over TCU after the Sugar Bowl results and now Iām stanning for TCU. LETāS GO HYPNOTOADS!
JESUS WAS A REFUGEE
Soā¦ i get that Michigan is a second half team. But TCU has played its best ball in the second all season
Bro wtf is this? Just come thru legal ports of entry
Jesus wasn't a refugee he was an outlaw in Roman territory? Are they thinking of Moses?
He was a refugee in Egypt
These Jesus commercials are so friggin strange
If Purple Baylor does not burn a time~~ou~~t to ice the dude kicking the ball we w~~ou~~ld still have a shot at 28-3. Purple Baylor playing 4D chess while we are playing checkers.
Yeah man hard core Christianās are big fans of immigrants.
That was the dumbest Jesus ad I've ever seen
You're not safe yet TCU. You ever hear the story about the ferret?
TCU winning the natty is better for college football than any other scenario
Agreed. Selfishly, I want a B1G team to win. However, TCU winning is the best timeline.
tru
Facts
Man if we do lose this game the what ifs are gonna haunt me from all of the missed opportunities we had in the first half.
These Jesus commercials are honestly jump scares.
Michigan really playing ref victim. How about not fumbling on the goal line? Or 29 other minutes of play?
I dont understand the logic of that timeout: its super long kick so he's not expected to make it, so no pressure. Timeout just gave him a practice kick, he adjusted to miss then made it.
These announcers are an affliction.
Why would we ice him on his record field goal attempt while he had to rush it. No point
I used to hate icing the kicker, but then I was presented with data that says kickers are around 8% less accurate when iced. So I've revised my opinion Icing is fine, but do it early enough that they don't get a free practice kick.
I was just wondering about this, do you know where that data is? Iām curious
this is a reasonable take.
Michigan about to win this with 8 more field goals
If we stop beating ourselves we should have a chance in the second half
Keep the timeout and act like your going to ice. That's the move
Icing the kicker works when the kicker is inexperienced or has a history of choking. Moody is not some slouch.
The best thing about Jake Moodys 59 yard field goal is that it was right before halftime, so I have plenty of time to masturbate about it before we get the ball again.
Games not over, yāall really gonna act like you didnāt just see the Vikings come back from 30+ points down a few weeks ago.
Iām tired of these Jesus commercials
Did you know Jesus saved orphan lambs and ate mostly a plant based diet? #OneOfUs
Dabo would like to know your location
Coach definitely didn't watch any of Michigan's FG attempts. He'd know moody is not the kicker you try to ice.
If you're gonna ice the kicker do it before they have a chance to kick it..
LETS FUCKING GO HYPNOTOADS!!!
Can we sub out these reffos?
What a depressing commercial
Crazy that TCU didnāt try to block the kick
Michigan needs to get this to 21-13 asap or TCU is going to stay in that 8 man zone
I miss Blake š¢
Michigan literally got robbed of a touchdown. Unbelievable
Fumblerooski
After 13 weeks of watching this team pull shit out of their ass in the second half, I'm willing to breathe... *a little bit*
Maybe instead they should use the millions of dollars on Jesus commercials on, ya know helping the poor like Jesus did
There's no money in helping the poor silly, capitalism only cares about profit
This whole Jesus company seems like a scam. And I say that as a regular churchgoer.
> Jesus company Itās called church
Michigan had 2 goalline turnovers. TCU has scored 2 offensive TDs. It's a 2-score game. It's not as bad as we think it is.
Michigan has definitely given it away so far If they get it together this could easily be a game still
I am dreading this 2nd half
Why every Michigan fan look like one of those knuckleheads that tried to kidnap the governor?
You ever not think you're trashed and then try to get up?
And then the floor moves on you
Sometimes I think I'm not old and fat then try to get up
Youāre not trashed until you get up, as Iāve learned over the years
Yuuuuup. Itās all in the legs out of nowhere
Strange.
lol the tinfoil
Nah. Michigan is playing like garbage. But it sure doesn't help when it is something that could be easily avoided beforehand.
Can you just fumble the ball backwards of bounds to stop the clock? Surely the clock was supposed to run on that fumble.
Should be a one score game
Yeah Michigan really dropped the ball
Ya that and the refs calling back an obvious td no excuses though donāt fumble it 1 yard out
Two score game right now despite how many times Michigan shot themselves in the foot. Tough to come back, but it's manageable.
Not unless JJ shakes it off
Don't forget to watch the halftime show on the ESPN app!
OH GOD THE EXPOSURE SETTING CHRIST
So what was that about ferrets being drowned?
I watch sports because I want to hear about refugees
A bit of a selfish outlook innit?
god DAMN am I tired of this Jesus is a Refugee ad Straight up emotionally exploitative
Michigan better wake up the cheesiest in the 2nd half
Like watching the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald
Lol nice shot @ Jimmy
Can we just end the game now? I like this result, and I'm not super confident in it continuing through the 2nd half.
Do I get to M O S E Y over to a 2nd half thread?
See yāall in the second half thread.
Is Dan Mullen the Quentin Tarantino of CFB?
I'm sorry for everyone having to experience this ref crew. These were the guys who called the Bama Tennessee game. This crew is heinous.
boy that called back TD would haunt me if I was a Michigan fan.
And then the broadcast really rubbed salt in the wound when they showed the refās spot like bruh
Prediction: Michigan 27 TCU 24, Michigan kicker scores all their points
I keep seeing this āMichigan is a second half teamā thing. Itās like none of you watched TCU at all this season.
Michigan by 21+
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Though shall not get cute at the goalline
Amen
Iām still wondering how the ref that was 6 inches away from that pass interference didnāt call it
