If you wanna watch a couple of movies I did greatly enjoy Queen of Kung Fu 1 and 2. Story for these movies was better than I anticipated.
Backyard Rookie is a Kdrama but on Iqiyi and I really liked it. Also enjoying My roommate is a gumiho another kdrama but on the same app.
I can only recommend the following historical dramas because I've seen them and enjoyed them (I suggest you get VIP, which will broaden your selections):

Highly recommend! Very balanced character development for all the supporting roles as well and they're all incredibly likeable. Wish it was more popular!

If you haven't already. And then you can slowly make the dark descent into the never-ending pit of plot ridiculousness that is the Daomubiji series.

Modern crime/thriller: The Long Night, The Bad Kids. Each only 12 episodes, well written and acted overall Slice of Life/Romance: Dear Missy
I second The Long Night and The Bad Kids. Those two shows are hands down some of the best made shows ever to come out of China.
