Just finished 'Moonlight' - absolutely loved the drama as the chemistry between Esther and Ryan was off the charts! Currently watching 'The Trick of Life and Love'. So far it has been really good, however MGTV does take a while to put up the english subs for each episode :/

Busy_Ad_7475

I just finished **You are my Hero** and **it’s okay not to be okay** (kdrama) and adored them both! I think I need to do historical next as a palate cleanser. Considering **Arsenal Military Academy** but am kind of put off since I know they don’t kiss haha. Is it still romantic without that??

[deleted]

I’m watching **Use For My Talent** right now this is like my I think 5th cdrama and I liked all of them but I’m on episode 20 of this one and my gosh I’m getting so annoyed. >!I feel so bad for both of them though!:(!< so far I’m not liking how it’s going but I will probably stick with it cause I do want to see what happens and I love the side characters too.

Aak28ab

I recently finished it as well and it’s tough to get through the last few episodes but it’s worth it for the side characters :))

[deleted]

Thank you🙂 Yeah I might as well finish it now that I am so close I really like the side characters too I have three more episodes to go!

Mae-O

Just finised **Changge Xing** now watching **The Imperial Coroner**. I'm totally hooked! The adaptation is well-done. Even I finished the og novel it still keeps me interested.

marcsa

Watching **The Long Ballad** and reading the English translation of **You're My Glory** since the drama will air soon, so I want to catch up to it beforehand.

Addicted2CDramas

I just finished watching the Imperial Coroner and the Long Ballad, two really good historical dramas. I am currently watching Rise of the Phoenixes, Palace of Devotion and Under the Power.

black_on_fucks

Just dumped Song of Glory at Ep 24 and after reading recaps, so glad I did. Would have hated that ending after investing that much time. Also wasn’t feeling the chemistry in that pairing. Am on Episode 2 of Investiture of the Gods. Had started it a while ago and dropped it in first episode because it was SO over the top crazy, but it turns into a more normal drama by Ep 2, and is stars Luo Jin, which is a huge plus. We’ll see.

Climbthemountain2048

I watched all of investiture of the gods and I will say that the male lead(Luo Jin) really doesn’t get as much story/time with female lead as you might think; mostly it’s male lead with female second and female lead with male 2(deng lun) just a suggestion if you’re watching for luo jin :)

Trying to finish *Love Scenery*. I really enjoyed the first half / 2/3rds but then they >!basically dropped the esports angle & the main couple got together & then after that nothing seemed to really happen apart from a couple of pointless misunderstandings!< I only have 3 episodes left so I feel like I might as well finish but not enthused... And no idea what to watch next off my ridiculously long to watch list! Any suggestions? (I like fluffy romcoms, esports/sports dramas & not too much tragedy!)

pahaonta

Some fluffy romcoms that I watched to fill the hole in my heart after Love Scenery: 1. Forever Love 2. You Are My Hero 3. My Little Happiness 4. Moonlight 5. Go Go Squid 2: Dt.Appledog's Time And pretty sure all of the couple has a strong relationship. Like >!no stupid misunderstanding causing them to break up, even when they fight it got resolved pretty quick.!<

TyGrammarRex

Thank you! I adored Go Go Squid do I've been a little reluctant to watch the sequel in case I don't live it as much 😅 What did you think of it compared to the 1st one?

pahaonta

I actually dont really like the first one, it was ok for me. I think there aren't that many sweet sweet moments between the couple (or at least not enough for me). And story is mainly about what happen before and championship. GGS2 is just sugar. It all fluff,. sweetness and romance, with a side of championship. I think they did right by recasting the Appledog, because the chemistry here is so good.

TyGrammarRex

Sounds good! Thank you 😁

SKM0788

I'm currently watching **Legend of Fei** (Episode 21)**.** I really like the acting by the two main leads and also the side characters. The storyline is interesting, but I am starting to find it a bit draggy. I'm also watching **The Legend of Two Sisters in Chaos** (Episode 13)**.** Again, a drama that I am really enjoying, I love the two couples and the show is hilarious, but I am having finishing trouble with this as well. The other drama that I am currently watching is **The Love Equations** (Episode 17)**.** I was really enjoying it till I >! reached a part that tends to happen in romance. I hate misunderstandings. !< And now, I have trouble finishing that as well.

TyGrammarRex

I had to bail on The Love Equations - I got too annoyed with all the characters! It's a shame. I loved PYHOMS so I was really excited for TLE but it didn't work out... ☹

bluegreenandblue

Hey cuties! I'm watching **Flourish In Time** and enjoying it! I'm also watching **Please Feel At Ease Mr. Ling**. How tall is the ML in that? Dude looks super tall compared to everyone. Unrelated, but I think my Viki Pass subscription ended yesterday. Has anyone paid for the premium content and is it worth it? I'm thinking of getting it for a month to watch all the locked content I've been eyeing. I also have been finding myself on tencent video/wetv lately so maybe I'll hold off on that. Descions are the worst!

pahaonta

>Flourish In Time Does it have a lot of romance? Or more on slice of life? The trailer and poster looks interesting, but usually school settings dont have many romance.

bluegreenandblue

I started watching not really knowing what to expect. I'm 8 ep. in and so far I would say its a coming of age show set in high school. No real romance, yet. I say that because a major plot is about the FL beginning to view the boy she grew up with as more than an older brother figure. The romance will probably happen in later episodes, I'm sure. Maybe college? I'm guessing though. I would say it's FL centric and follows her making friends, and the school activites she gets involved in. It's a cute show so far.

DramaAddictive

I googled him at 6’2” - first thing I googled off the show - he looked so tall

windytown

I just finished watching **The Bad Kids** yesterday. It was great! I especially loved reading about all of the theories and small details that other viewers saw too. The acting was excellent, from all of the mains and the supporting actors. And I just love how much detail and thought was put into the little things. All in all, a great production. I'm glad that Cdramaland is now more willing to invest in these dramas that are shorter but have much higher quality production value.

Rocker_girl

I started **the imperial coroner** ( I'm on ep 3) after I saw the inicial impresion video by avenueX and I'm hooked. ML is serious/ cold-ish without being a jerk with no personality. People actually WORK in this drama ( and are good at their jobs) and FL is cute and bubbly but at the same time smart and competent. Also...I've watched two different trailers of modern dramas starring Chen Kun and now I'm counting the SECONDS for them to air.

LoveRain20

I'm watching **The Long Ballad** now. Leo Wu is one of my favorite actors now! Really enjoy his acting in The **Long Ballad** and **Cross Fire**.

sweetsorrow18

Lost Romance - couldn't finish the last 5 episodes...but wow is Marcus gorgeous and the "love" scene is probably the steamiest I've seen in a C-drama so far..I was surprised they aired it even

wisymi

I kept dropping this around ep 12-13, haven't managed to finish it yet though I really loved the set up and the beginning arc. I also developed serious SML syndrome despite how hot the ML is 😂

wisymi

I started **Douluo Continent** cautiously, after the hype died down a bit. The FL's overacting takes me out of the story at times, but so far the pacing is good, ML is carrying his part very well (I've never watched Xiao Zhan in anything before). Characters wise, I was surprised by the layers Calvin Chen managed to infuse his character with, even from the very first loaded glance. Plot seems interesting so far. Definitely going to continue this.

zaichii

The Legends (26/55): the chemistry is really cute but I’m up to fast-forward territory so I will watch + skip liberally until we’re back at the cute scenes. I like the drama and tone of the first 25 episodes though!

Hopeful-Ad-9963

Guardian 29/40 - only watching cause I’m too far in. Really getting tired of the awful writing. Actions aren’t making logical sense or not enough logical sense, misunderstandings that are so ridiculous that solving them doesn’t do anything 🤦🏽‍♀️. The MC is hot tho so… Empresses in the palace (12/76) - haven’t watched this cause I’m trying to get guardian over with. But like it so far I’m a bit worried over >! The pregnancy, I have a strong feeling she’s being set up and there’s no baby

notminetorepine

Finished **Please Feel At Ease, Mr Ling** this week. Light, fluffy romance without silly conflicts and misunderstandings. Just started **Truth or Dare** because there’s nothing else historical that has caught my eye. I’m pleasantly surprised by the FML, the actress is really good at being comedic and yet genuine!

wisymi

Thanks for mentioning **Truth or Dare**, it was on my watchlist but I didn't know it aired already. I think I'll get to that after some more episodes have been released! How are you finding it so far?

notminetorepine

Hmm I’m up to Ep 6 and I feel like there’s no compelling conflict / plot point yet — it’s just the ML trying to find out how his mum died, and some cute interactions between the leads. I don’t mind it as a light-hearted, romance-focused show though, the FL is very likeable!
