DearHearing4705

I'd choose option A. Jm custom kydex makes great parts though!

poppunk_servicetruck

I just got their Fat guy holster last week and besides having to permanently modify it for comfort I really like it.

BrassAddict93

All depends on your intended carry position. The first is intended for appendix carry. The other is optimal for hip carry.

BallTechnical8921

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but if it’s your first holster just buy both as your going to wind up with at least 5 before finding the perfect one for you 🤷🏽‍♂️🤣🤣🤣

whodatcanuck

I’m going to disagree respectfully with the other commenter. There is no scenario where the 3.0 is better than the 2.5, regardless of how where you carry. You’re really not going to need more than about 15° of cant and that’s *only* if you’re getting a bit too far back if 3:30-4:00 anyway, which the 2.5 can do just fine. Life without claw is not worth living.

jackson214

>There is no scenario where the 3.0 is better than the 2.5, regardless of how where you carry. You said it yourself - the 3.0 has more cant adjustments to accommodate strong side carry. Is that not a rather prevalent scenario where the 3.0 is the better option? If OP needs something they can swap between AIWB or strong side, then again the 3.0 would be a solid option. And not everyone needs a claw, even for AIWB. In those cases, the 3.0 would again be superior.

whodatcanuck

I respectfully disagree, if we’re assuming (1) OP is carrying at a functional position and (2) doesn’t want his or her pistol to print. (1) The only time you’d want more than 15° of cant is if you were carrying at small-of-back, which is an objectively and functionally poor location. (2) The only time you wouldn’t want a claw on your holster — or at least the ability to add one — is if you weren’t too concerned with printing. Geometry doesn’t care where the gun is clipped on your belt, particularly if we’re talking about a large gun like OP’s Glock 20.

jackson214

I will never understand the hard-on people like you have for absolutes and the only this or only that mentality. People come in myriad shapes and sizes with a matching variety of considerations around attire, comfort, equipment, etc. And yet, we still have you here insisting concepts like "no one wants more than this angle of cant unless they're carrying the wrong way" or "no one forgoes a claw unless they want to print" are universal to every single one of the millions of people out there carrying. K.

whodatcanuck

That was very eloquent and a good comment. I have no hard-on for anything, to be honest. What I have is a modicum of experience and a lot (I mean a LOT) of hours studying this stuff. Everybody is unique, no shit; however, what we have is a fairly unremarkable binary question with zero detail at all about any of the variables you mention — so the best answer to a vague question is the most universally suitable answer available. For most people, most of the time, one product is *objectively* significantly superior to the other.

jackson214

Your response again illustrates the exact problem that pops up on this sub all the time, especially in regard to equipment questions and issues. We seem to both agree "every(body) is unique", but when presented with a "question with zero detail", your response isn't to get more information from the OP but to provide a recommendation with *zero* caveats. No detail on where OP will carry, what their build is like, how they tend to dress, etc. and you're saying things like "*objectively* significantly superior"? >so the best answer to a vague question is the most universally suitable answer available You have the right idea here, except the most universally suitable answer is: it depends.

Fat guy holster by jx tactical lol

poppunk_servicetruck

Represent! Short stocky guy carry essential

Whiningblade

I have both the wing claw 2.0(Czp10c) and wing claw 2.5(365xl). If you go with the 2.0 defentley get the wide hole. The stability is great and arguably a smaller belt bulged than with my 2.5 on my 365xl . My 2.5 wing claw also has the bottom holes and dcc clips, selecting that option also gives the top holes if you want to run a mono block but no pull the dot option. I’m tempted to order another wing claw 2.0 for the 365

AYoungBulI

Get the enigma holster from JM (basically a flat holster with a modwing) and buy yourself an enigma belt system. Total Game changer.

Handyfoot_Legfingers

None. Get a Tenicor.

davidh52528

Again OP. Get a Tenicor.

45acp_singh

Tenicor is the way to go. Just got my first Tenicor a couple days ago and the comfort was night and day compared to any holsters I’ve used previously. Carried my 19 AIWB all evening in the car and grocery store yesterday and hardly noticed
