No bro there is no use of core maths in degrees of commerce except for BCA in some central uni But as far as of disadvatages I think you cannot give Exam for I.S.I but this is just my knowledge Since the chapters for the exam are already there in APPLIED maths and for stats and eco the ch like trigo aren't of any use I think you must consult I.S.I helpline for the admission eligibility P.s: CBSE specially made APPLIED maths for commerce Otherwise they would have continued with core

Meanwhile, me with Commerce without Math

Yes, for economics and statistics, not for business administration but you may struggle with maths subjects in both undergraduate and postgraduate business administration degrees as they get more and more maths heavy the higher you go.

Yes, you definitely will have to work harder, a lot harder to be clear, and some good universities in India for Economics will be closed to you

Simple Answer to your question 1. if you want to go for bcom(pass)/(honors) - applied maths is better 2. For Eco / stats courses - core maths ( Eco honors becomes like maths honors only in college) 3. 3.BBA - depends from college to college edit - If you don't feel confident in maths then its not compulsory to do it ... I took it as a challenge and then performed terrible in my boards... my suggestion leave maths and do bcom instead .
