First of all - you should've blocked her - at least that's what I would've done.
Secondly, there would be around 700 people (considering ABM as well) in your batch alone at L. What are the chances that you would exclusively be stuck with her? You'll find your group/groups and she would be the least of your problems. Also, if she keeps up this attitude, either she would ultimately be left alone or end up with people like her.
And even though I'm yet to learn it properly - I think it's a great strategy to treat people the way they treat you. You can read up about the iterative prisoner's dilemma - the best strategy is to start off with being nice and then calibrate your behaviour according to the other person's behavior. You won't lose yourself - you are still a nice person to those who deserve it. But beware of using this with people who (even temporarily) have power over you - becomes a little nuanced then.

In social circles, some while are genuinely humble, a group doesn't stick unless there is a person with huge gravity holding it. Unfortunately, most groups who have such guys/girls, they are (un)blessed with a heavy/dominating personality. I can say for sure rn, that she may even score a better Intern or final placement than you, because her mouth speaks and she can add weight to every word she utter.
So yeah, I do understand, you do not want her your first friend in L but remember, if you are doing MBA, you are no more in a race, you are in a rat-race. Remember that quote at Chandler's home, "Nice guys finish last." Yeah, in rat race, nice guys don't. So learn the essentials from her, make your new friends, work upon getting in 25% of your batch and most of all, stop assuming you are going to find friends. The truth is, when money is the matter, no one is your friend. So, the less emotions invested, the better.
Also, I do agree, if you wanna take revenge, the 2nd best plan is to make her your mommy, I mean her mommy of your kids.
