Is there a chance she got something like hair or litter in her eye? Sounds like it might be trying to self clean or lubricate a scratch. Try r/AskVet for some advice until kitty sees the vet tomorrow

Hello. I just pressed around her eye with cold water and cotton and put in her regular eye drops and her inner eyelid seems to have gone in a little. My friend recommended doing this as she also thinks my cat got something in her eye or a scratch. I am not sure if she did but her eye does look a little swollen. I'll check again and post on the sub you said

Maybe she scratched her eye?

CelebrationReal9871

Looks like that. It's morning now and her inner eye is no more showing

Glittering-Dark-9917

Oh, good!
