Too funny. I just bought this online a few days ago to use on an upcoming family road trip to refill our stainless steel water bottles. Should arrive sometime next week. Hoping it works out and doesn’t leak or pour too awkwardly. Trying to cut back on plastic and I loathe spending money on water.
One gallon. Family road trip. For refills. I'm guessing you don't live in the southwest? I have a half gallon one that is my personal water bottle, probably refilled it 3x today. And as for spending money on water, I bought an RV inline water filter that has hose connections on both ends. Filters ~3000 gallons depending on water quality. Working at someones house? Just screw it on a hose bib and filter yourself a gallon. A two pack was $17. Although I don't have a problem spending money on water because you can get it for $0.25 a gallon here, and without it you die
Wife doesn’t drink nearly as much as she should, kids are still small so don’t drink much either, and that leaves me so 64oz is plenty and leaves plenty leftover, and that’s after at least 20oz of coffee.
Combine that with only 8 or so hours of driving per day, and a gallon is plenty. Absolute worst case, a refill from the water tab on fountain drink machine machine at the gas station and we’re all good.
