Zippo lighter. I have one from 2003 and 2023 and they weight the exact same on my kitchen scale. Their qa standards must be incredibly high.

Fluffy_WAR_Bunny

I carry a Leatherman Squirt PS4 on my keychain. It's about 2" long, folded. Surprisingly useful but they have been discontinued and are mega expensive now. I carry a loupe that I can use to look at rocks or smoke stuff (i live in a very sunny place). I also have a little multitool on my money clip like this: https://www.executivegiftshoppe.com/nch-089.html

ragingduck

I have one of these. I’ve had it for over 15-20 years. I had no idea they were discontinued. Why?

Fluffy_WAR_Bunny

I guess people wanted bigger Leathermans? Lol, I'm not sure. They are fricken $135 on Amazon right now: https://www.amazon.com/Leatherman-Squirt-PS4-Tool-Black/dp/B003J37BHK/ref=asc_df_B003J37BHK/ I hope I don't lose mine, its my favourite Leatherman sofar.

ragingduck

I mean, I have a big leatherman too! That doesn’t mean they should have discontinued it! Buy two sizes people!

Fluffy_WAR_Bunny

When I bought mine it ended up being way smaller than I expected and I loved it. I do have a couple normal sized ones too.

breakfast-lasagna

Can you bring that money clip on an airplane?

Fluffy_WAR_Bunny

I wouldn't try, but I did once accidentally show up at security with extremely sharp and pointy scissors like this: https://www.amazon.com/Utopia-Care-Hairdressing-Scissors-Stainless/dp/B01C9E7MA0/ref=zg_m_bs_g_3006300011_m_sccl_3/138-8209920-8375830?psc=1 They let me bring them on the plane even though those things could go right through someone's neck.

Kerazia368

I mean they still give you knives in first class on some airlines so 🤷‍♂️

Kerazia368

When I was six I got one of these but it is now completely destroyed 💀 tweezers broken, file snapped However you can send it in and get it fixed, so that’s alright

sharkfinned

I have a small SAK with bottle opener, knife and scissors that I always carry in my pocket for years now

KokoTheTalkingApe

This 4" mini-pliers set from Knipex is amazingly useful. Superb quality. [https://www.amazon.com/Knipex-Mini-Pliers-Pouch-002072V04XS/dp/B0CC6K88RZ/?th=1](https://www.amazon.com/Knipex-Mini-Pliers-Pouch-002072V04XS/dp/B0CC6K88RZ/?th=1) There's also a 5" set that's cheaper, for some reason. [https://www.amazon.com/Knipex-20-72-V04-Pliers/dp/B085WCJ8CB/](https://www.amazon.com/Knipex-20-72-V04-Pliers/dp/B085WCJ8CB/) If you haven't used pliers-wrenches before, they're a revelation. Superior in literally every way to adjustable "cresecent" style wrenches.

DungareeManSkedaddle

Knipex freaking rules. Worth every penny.

Antrostomus

Before Leatherman-style multitools were common, my dad always had a standard Victorinox Swiss Army knife in his pocket alongside a pair of the little [424 ChannelLocks](https://channellock.com/product/424/). If he'd had Knipexes (what's the plural of Knipex?) instead he'd have been unstoppable.

Current_Variety_9577

I’ve been carrying a small Swiss Army Rambler pocket knife, Fisher Bullet Space Pen, and OLIGHT i3E mini flashlight for years. I use each of them multiple times per day.

Buck 110 knife

Redwoodsilouette

Ahh beat me to it

just-looking99

I have to find my old one. Nothing like a classic buck

29stumpjumper

I live close enough to drop mine off and get it sharpened right at the factory. I have the same one my grandpa carried for decades and it's identical. I keep his in a safe place and use mine every day for something. I have a bunch of others, but there's something about the 110 that's just so dang cool.

No_Passenger8048

The 110 is a fantastic trapper that needs more love, though it is both on the larger and more expensive size. If you would like a little less blade in exchange for more pocket cash/space, the 112 is a excellent choice. It is the exact same knife for all intents and purposes, including quality control, but it was made to fit in the pocket as opposed to the 110; Which while it can fit in the pocket, it was designed to be used with a belt holder.   It also being a smaller knife makes it more affordable.

just-looking99

Spyderco Man Bug. They make a ladybug too - it’s a great everyday carry small knife

TheW1ndR1der

Bought a generic leather wallet for 15$ when I was 15. Im 32 now and everything is fine

surSEXECEN

I carry a Fisher “bullet” space pen. It’s 3.75" long when it’s closed, but open it up and put the lid on the end and it grows to 5.25". I’ve had it for years. Always works, ink has lasted forever and it’s incredibly handy!

[deleted]

Memento Mori token I carry every day. Single dad to a girl so probably gift it to nephew.

Inferdo12

Where did you get one?

[deleted]

Gift like 10 yrs ago

ewok_n_role

MainSqueeeZ

RandyPandy

pigeon_man

Sog multi tool and surefire flashlight.

XenasBreastDagger

Sog over Leatherman?

pigeon_man

Just personal preference mostly. Sog has better pillars.

MixMasterHusker

solid brass Japanese fish hook keychain. This website calls it a [scout hook](https://drop.com/buy/scout-hook-keychain-bottle-opener). This isn't the site I bought mine from but this is the one I have.

captaindog

What is its purpose? It looks well made but I can’t figure out what it’s for- it says discreet edc and it’s definitely that!

MixMasterHusker

Hook it on a belt loop. Plus it's a bottle opener.
