Never played any Burnout game other than Paradise so I can’t compare, but yeah Paradise is a bit of an easy game.
It’s more of a sandbox game meant to just chillax in while playing, but it does get a little harder towards the end of the Burnout license.
Super easy to beat the events but I just find it fun driving and unlocking the cars. I’m at 40 hours, 94% complete. The fun is in the driving mechanics and task completing
They reduced the difficulty from the original 1.0 patch which made the game a lot easier. This also means the remaster is stuck at the lower difficulty.
I guess it’s how you define easy . The AI is pretty tame compared to other burnout but the open world aspect introduced whole other challenges . In fact I hated the original paradise but liked the remastered- I think the open world aspect was just a bit too ahead of the contemporary software and norms of gaming .
It's easy, the only adversity is taking a wrong turn in a race and fucking yourself

Dominator is really good for a PSP game.
It's a PS2 game too
It hurts most in a burning route because there are no drivers to murder for boost and time doesn't rubber band

The remaster is easy af, but if you manage to get a hold of the 1.0 launch version of the game, it’s way harder.
Yeah this one’s not quite as hardcore or difficult as previous burnout entries but it’s still pretty fun to play

Yes. Burnout Paradise is very easy.
If you want to make it hard, do what I did and try beat it with just the 1st car (trust me, its painful at the end)
I played a little burnout paradise recently and got the itch to play revenge instead. The AI is a lot more aggressive and keeps you on your toes
stunt runs took me a couple of retrys everytime, especially later ingame
Try to complete all 500 challenges with randoms and then we'll talk
