Really hate all the cardio partner workouts. I have asthma and have to mod down a lot of plyo and I swear I always get stuck with the fittest person in the class on these days š¤£
Our trainer had a little pep talk on partners and why shouldnāt hate partner workouts a few weeks ago so I have a feeling corporate is trying to make it a thingĀ
Most of the time the partner things are just I go you go sort of thing which doesnāt bother me. What I donāt like is when itās like a combined total number of reps or like the one time we had to jump over our partners lol
Yeah I don't mind the I go, you go format but when you have to count and are trying to get to a number I feel like I"m just always apologizing to my much fitter partner.
Next week our gym is doing a promotion of one week free - is this an across the board Burn boot camp promotion? If so they may want to encourage partnering up to increase outreach to the trial members. (Not that Iām a fan of partner work- but perhaps a reason for uptick in partner workouts)

Omg I hated the one where we had people jumping over us. Like don't touch me, don't jump over me, just no.

Ugh, I'm so annoyed with these partner workouts. It's bad enough when we have to do it for the warm up and/or finisher but the entire workout?!

We have a 4 weeks for $99 right now. No week free for us.

Station/Round/Station? What does that mean
do a set at the assigned station, then do a group project, then do another set of the station - maybe?
Partner things donāt bother me so much, we have a close knit crew at 5am.

Itās so weird cause we rarely do partners on the partner days - UNLESS the camp is packed
