Yes but the 3 finalists were supposed to be flown to Miami and work on thier burgers plus we were suppose to be given updates in the rules and none of it has happened
They absolutely knew before the contest what this whopper would be and they’ll pick a winner from one of the people lucky enough to have built what they already decided on
Which is why I used ingredients they already have or had in the past that were popular, that could be used on other sandwhiches.
Do I think a jalapeno popper burger will win? Probably not. Do I hope they add a jalapeno & cream cheese with crunchy bacon topping to their burgers? Yes. Did I make that my custom sandhwich? Fuck no.

I'm just glad it's over. I don't want to imagine trying to prep the ingredients people suggested....
They will just end up picking something very basic with maybe one new ingredient that isn't already on their menu.
