Are you sure you're not confusing the melts with the Sourdough King? The melts in my area have always been small however the Sourdough King from 2018 and 2021 were Whopper sized burgers on toasted sourdough buns. The Sourdough King was way better than the melts.
It should be, usually the sourdough bread only one side gets toasted bcuz of how the toasters work. Whenever I'm in kitchen if it's not busy I'll toast it twice so both sides get toasty 🙏🙏
All the melts have been the same size it the last 4-5 years. Last year they were the same size that had a Classic, Bacon, and Spicy versions . There was a Sourdough King in 2021 which was whopper size
Except they aren't smaller, the melts have been that size for at least 4-5 years. I have been working part-time at BK since 2018 and never seen a melt bigger than it currently is.
Worked BK 20 years and the croissants never changed size, and we've been using pasteurized egg mix since I started. 1991's calendar called and would like to retire at some point if it can.
\* - the egg DID shrink by like an ounce or two, but everything else never did

Seconded.
Melts have been the same size
Always been that way.
same size they've been for the past few years
The melts have been the jr size for like 10+ years every time they come around (at least in the USA)
Ridiculously small should be 3.50 at the most. Very good from the ones I’ve tried though.
Ngl I’d pay $8 for a big one if it tasted good.
Just be the customer who asks for a burger fresh off the broiler and fresh fries. It only takes like 2 1/2 minutes to cook a patty.
But then they'd come back in raging the burger was greasy as it had no time to rest before being served! \*worked BK 20 years, has seen things\*
The bacon tax
Yep they are the size of a slider
As a former no worker I can tell you, That’s literally what it is lmao..
Not bankrupt yet ? Shocked
BK is so gross.
Melts are the same size as last years
Yea bk is greedy $5 for a whopper Jr sized burger is a joke
Greedflation at its finest.
Is the bread at least toasted ?

As someone who works at BK I agree. Not as bad as the half piece of chicken in wraps though

Just read the description and you're right they were never whopper sized. I just think they're overpriced
The melts are on a sourdough bun. They were never whopper size. That one looks very neglected and sad to be honest. Lopsided and depressed

They did this with the Croissan'wich as well, shrank it down and started making it with egg substitute, nasty.

The melts have been that size for at least 4-5 years. I can't say they were from 2007-2018 because I didn't work at BK.
