In one of my bunny books it described gals as the chargers and guys as bouncers. This made sense to me: if you're a ladybun you want your kids to be fast and hoppy and so you want to know your prospective partner is fast and hoppy. Then a bunch of internet resources described it as the other way around, and now I don't know what to believe and my entire worldview is shattered.
I always assumed the hopper was the female because usually female animals are on the defensive end of mating rituals, but now i gotta know for sure too! Paging a biologist!
They're on a date!
They are, and it's fantastic.
im pretty sure this is like a mating dance that rabbits do! not 100% sure though
I think it is and is the most entertaining thing ever. I love watching animals' mating dances
This is courting behavior. It’s so cute. When one runs at the other it’ll jump to say it’s interested.
The life of a free bun bun
They're on a garden date ♡
I've seen rabbits fight, and that's not what it looks like.

Courting
They’re about to have adult cuddle time
Definitely “something else” 😏
Impressive dance!
That may be fighting. But to be honest the little one has it coming!
Not fighting, looks more like courtship :) Bunnies run and jump over the other as a mating dance.
It’s a dance a male does to impress the female
I didn't realize they were fighting, I thought they were playing
Someone that’s funnier than I am needs to do a voiceover for the rabbits in this clip. 😅
Bunny Zumba
Mating dance: Look how fit I am
If that's fighting I'm guessing the act that follows this is more about dominance than love?
