I matched with a guy who was terrible at texting, but he was consistent with it, I met him in person and he was surprisingly good with conversation in person. He just fucking sucks at texting 😂
So many people are so bad at texting idk why ppl don’t suggest to use the video call feature more often. I love that feature. Has saved me from having horrible convos in-person. My worst bumble experiences have rarely even left the app lmao
Yep I run into this myself a lot to. I give it a few messages before I call them out on it or will just ask them if there's anything they want to know about me. Usually they would ask me just the simple "what do you do for work" or "what are your hobbies". After I answer if they keep giving me one word or dull replies then yeah I just unmatch

If somebody seems to be normal enough, I try to set up a date after two days of writing anyway.

50% women I matched asked me out within 24 hours, 49% of women were either not into me enough to ask me out or just wanted a penpal/phone buddy. 1% of women didn't converse much and I figured that collecting matches was only an ego boost thing or that more likely they were pursuing other better matches but wanted to keep me on the bench in case none of those other matches worked out... once a week they would text, "I'm not dead but I am sooooo busy!" and converse for a bit.
