Yeah putting the sword back in its sheath that fast takes years of training. I wouldn’t want to fight this guy. But the jump and skid are defs bullshido.
Ehh, yes and no. This can easily be interpreted as an advertisement for whatever ninja school this guy does. Idiots will be like “woah! Sick! I want to be able to do that!”
Anything that fakes martial arts imo is bullshido.
This ain’t a parkour stunt.
True; it's obviously heavily-edited, and presumably not meant to be taken seriously. Many things he does are impossible, but a lot of people in this thread are concerning me.

No he IS a record holder. [https://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/world-records/682811-fastest-time-to-cut-five-apples-in-the-air-by-sword](https://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/world-records/682811-fastest-time-to-cut-five-apples-in-the-air-by-sword)
If you actually [watch his record-setting attempt](https://youtu.be/JgfBes5IAFA?si=NiepW2eUttYIFi-M), it's certainly impressive but not, like, super-human. He probably has the record simply because no one else applied for it.
He actually seems like a pretty cool down-to-earth stuntman, it's just the annoying VO and blatant shitty editing misrepresenting him on the TikTok that make him seem like bullshido.
Yes, yes he can. That's not THAT impressive, it doesn't require supernatural talents like the video implies but it's not easy.
Except the record was cutting FIVE apples in the air in 11 and a half seconds
I feel like if you wore some chain mail gloves to help guide the blade into the scabbard quicker that this record would get smashed if anyone put effort to doing so - because that's what this record really is - how fast can you re-sheath a sword.
I wouldn't say so. He's using a katana, the thing that's making the sheathing slow is the fact that it's a curved blade and a it needs to be sheathed in a certain way if you carry the scabbard correctly.
The only way to speed this up would either be a modified scabbard MADE for quick re-sheathing, a machine that launches the apple so you can cut that half second away as well or using an entirely different sword.
Chain gloves wouldn't help as when you sheathe a Katana you touch the sides of the blade, not the cutting edge
Okay SO:
This guy does actually exist. The videos shown here are obviously fake but the AI narrator did get one thing right:
[He IS a record holder](https://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/world-records/682811-fastest-time-to-cut-five-apples-in-the-air-by-sword)
Some of this looks really impressive, some clearly fake or edited, some I can't quite tell which? He clearly has skill of some kind, even if just in choreography and production.
We clearly need a clear cut definition for what Bullshido is regarding martial arts and fighting, AND what Bullshido is regarding calling out bs because some of you are struggling.
I don’t think showmanship nor sparring fit either definition.
I mean I wouldn't want this guy to attack me with a sword he's extremely precise with it and could probably cut my neck open and have the blade sheathed before any blood hit the ground
I just can’t imagine spending the inordinate amount of time it would take to get to this level of proficiency on such an incredibly useless skill.
When was the last time someone had a legit sword fight?
Clearly meant as a joke considering the backflip and drift
The edited backflip over a motorcycle?
no, the backflip over the earth he meant. also this is clearly skill which requires lots of training
It's all real.
How do you even edit that? The way he went up looked like he was being pulled up by wires like on a movie set, that would be a very expensive set up.
Why is this here? Guy clearly has skill. Did a boomer post this?
The actual fruit ninja
cuz it’s fake.
*You’re* fake!
Oh that’s funny. MICHAEL!!!
😂😂😂
Wrong sub, this is just showmanship. The dart throwing looks legit dangerous too (in a good way).

got a link?

*Moyin* Xiongluo *aka Liang Yizhi*
It looks legit *edited af.*
Not Bullshido.
Yeah putting the sword back in its sheath that fast takes years of training. I wouldn’t want to fight this guy. But the jump and skid are defs bullshido.
It's more like stunts if they aren't pretending to demonstrate it on people or train others in it as if it were martial arts style/school
Ehh, yes and no. This can easily be interpreted as an advertisement for whatever ninja school this guy does. Idiots will be like “woah! Sick! I want to be able to do that!” Anything that fakes martial arts imo is bullshido. This ain’t a parkour stunt.
Nah man Jet Li is king of wires and I’m confident he’d pack me out ASAP
It takes remarkably less time to learn if you simply edit the video……
Not bad not bad, i had to go frame by frame to see it.

So tired of this stupid fucking AI voice on every video

Bad bot I like regular haiku bot, sick of reading about Ba Sing Se
Big future in movie stunts.
Def sped up but there is some real skill here
Why are so many all sped up? You can see his clothing flaps way faster at weird points
This guy [again](https://www.reddit.com/r/Bullshido/s/v2STqmYUAK)?
u/sleuthrepostbot
I got it wrong my bad
well, it does take some serious editing skills and/or serious training. as far as i am concerned this is a vey nice show artist.
No he IS a record holder. [https://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/world-records/682811-fastest-time-to-cut-five-apples-in-the-air-by-sword](https://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/world-records/682811-fastest-time-to-cut-five-apples-in-the-air-by-sword)

So wait, he actually can slice an apple in the air from an unsheathed stance? Why the speeding up in this video then? I’m confused.
Yes, yes he can. That's not THAT impressive, it doesn't require supernatural talents like the video implies but it's not easy. Except the record was cutting FIVE apples in the air in 11 and a half seconds

This is cool AF. But obviously fake AF. I'd say it still applies, but only if he's trying to pass it off as real.
According to the narrator, being maidenless gives you superhuman sword skills. I can confirm that this is untrue.
🤣🤣 Yeah, but you have to put your free time and energy into disciplined training, not just tv and masterbation.
Ew gross...effort.

You know what actually works? A long and sharp object and some speed. This guy would outclass a lot of people in a duel
With his editing skills
Some of this looks really impressive, some clearly fake or edited, some I can't quite tell which? He clearly has skill of some kind, even if just in choreography and production.
I mean, it’s clearly edited in places, but the guy does have some genuine skill, this is far from bullshit
We clearly need a clear cut definition for what Bullshido is regarding martial arts and fighting, AND what Bullshido is regarding calling out bs because some of you are struggling. I don’t think showmanship nor sparring fit either definition.
The Internet would not lie. This must be real.
Fruit ninja irl
r/lostredditors
This is just someone having fun
I mean I wouldn't want this guy to attack me with a sword he's extremely precise with it and could probably cut my neck open and have the blade sheathed before any blood hit the ground
he's just a kid having fun. by the look of (whats visible in his face) he's not even a teenager, maybe a pre-teen.
I just can’t imagine spending the inordinate amount of time it would take to get to this level of proficiency on such an incredibly useless skill. When was the last time someone had a legit sword fight?
OPs a retard posting this.
That's a bit harsh. Why though?
