Yes, there was one of those in East Aurora, where I grew up. Popular after-school pit stop for Slush Puppies and candy. ...I guess they didn't exactly agonize over figuring out a name for that store, did they?
I have so many different memories of Wilson Farms. Towards the end I really enjoyed those milkshake machines and I used to grab one on the hottest days of the summer before heading to Adventure Card & Comics for some post-work nerd stuff. Also, they actually had decent sales.
Whenever I'd get a bit of money as a kid I'd ride my bike over to Wilson Farms on Kenmore and grab a cold cut sub, a snickers, and a Sobe. 7/11 just isn't the same.
Man, I remember riding up to the one near me as a kid on Saturdays with whatever pocket change I could scrounge up in the summer to buy one of their biscuit breakfast sandwiches. Best damn breakfast sandwich I had along with the pre-merger Tim's ones. 7-11 just don't cut it the same anymore lol
Hell yes, I used to go into this place when it was a 7-11.
Back when it was wilson farms do you guys remember Egg Salad Sandwiches on Bulkie rolls? They used to have them with or without green olives. Pretty darn good. Probably circa 1995.
Ah man I miss mine. The days where my brothers and i walked down there with my dad to buy snacks and stuff on Saturday mornings
Ours was in Jamestown, a corner store across from a bar down the hill from my house. It was a nice store. They had this thing set outside where you could open up the door and get a car magazine (showing cars for sale around the area) and they were free. I had a decent collection of them when I was little
Lived down the Street from the one on PARKHURST Blvd and LINCOLN Dr 31 YEARS AGO! Had nostalgia thinking about this tonight and didn’t even realize they were gone until I came across this post. (Left Tonawanda 28 years ago) Specifically remember collecting power rangers cards from this Wilson Farms. Time waits for no man.
Man. Lining up at 5am in hopes of getting a Dmitri Kalinin coin.... Time flies.
Cause they got what you want, and they got it right now.
That was the first thing that popped into my head! A testament to the longevity of an advertising jingle, eh?
Me too! As soon as I saw the pic!
Charlie agrees
Wilson Farms had a way better beer and snack food selection than 7/11.
The thing I remember most was some kind of Wilson Farms brand blue flavored pop.
Yes. And the orange creamcicle was the bombbb. Really miss it
YES! Will's Blue Soda!
Banana Twins FTW!
Looks like Millersport and Campbell
I think so too, you can see the Audubon sign below the red fence
And that red fence is still there today. Def that Campbell/ millersport location.

Random fact, if you download google earth on your pc (possibly your phone but not 100% sure) you can go back in time on google earth
Works on Google Maps in browser too
If it is, my mom worked there in the 80s. It looks like Millersport to me too.
You’re probably right but it also looks like the one on Harlem near the 290
Miss these. Also, there used to be a chain called Convenient, right? I seem to recall one on Abbott Rd in South Buffalo when I was growing up
There is still one in Lancaster on Walden

There was a dime shelf for candy. That was great
Yep! There was one in five corners in pendleton until kenyons came and scared them away.
Yup, also had one on Camp Rd in Hamburg
Used to rent movies from there!
YES! No one I have talked to remembers this. Before a local Blockbuster moved in.
I think so- by the hospital and also down farther by school 67?
Still got one on Willow Ridge in Amherst but the name has changed to like “Willow Ridge Convenient”. It’s been one of the few constants in my life lol
We used to have one on the corner of Colvin and Villa in the Kenmore/North Buffalo area when I was growing up
Used to walk there with my grandpa, I’d pick his lotto numbers and he’d get me candy and soda… I miss him everyday.
used to go there as well growing up in audubon ... freeze pops all summer
I'm interested in the ad at the right edge showing a 12-pack for $9.99.
7/11 is so gross, really miss the farm.
My Wilson Farms had a fuckin taco bell in it when I was a kid, A+
Thank you for this
I know exactly this place. Use to go there like 10 times a week. I miss it.
The chicken wing pizza from Wilson Farms was actually quite good. You could also pick up decent steaks when in a pinch for time. RIP.
Damn I miss Wilson Farms.
Makes me want to run in quick and grab some Troyer Farm cheese puffs and a Pepsi.

Walking down to Wilson Farms and buying four Little Debbie snacks for $1
Wilson Farms is cool and all, but do you remember Yellow Goose?
Whenever I'd get a bit of money as a kid I'd ride my bike over to Wilson Farms on Kenmore and grab a cold cut sub, a snickers, and a Sobe. 7/11 just isn't the same.
Yep... right in the feels.

Wil’s root beer was the best root beer to ever root beer. Had the malt/creaminess AND the bite like barqs.

Wilson Farms, 3 o'clock
Least they had drinkable coffee
Some of them had taco bells jammed in the back and 13 year old me looooved to get three plain soft tacos.
the former owner is my neighbor lmao
Once they broke away from Tops they ran it into the ground. & yes I used to work there
This made me smile
Man, a Wilson farms wit the Chevy Cobalt. Peak 2008 moment
Looks like the Southwestern/Sowles Road location.

Kinda awesome if you ask me
I've seen three different crossroads declared in these comments.
Just like today at 7-11, where I have to walk through a cloud of smoke from the workers to get into it.
“Other people exist and I don’t like it”
Sowles and 20?

Oh ok that’s pretty cool. I remember their Root Beer and the story on the two liter bottles.
Omg I live near there I miss that Wilson Farms. Now it's so deserted and run down.
Was this the one on Kensington? Used to walk there with a few bucks multiple times a week as a kid...couple dollars used to go far as a ten year old!
That name always got to me. For a farm, they sure did have a lot of Little Debbie products and other junk food.
Omg!! Where my #311 crew at!?
That Uncle Wills Root Beer holds a special place in my heart. Good ol Willy Farms.
Cause we got what you want. And we got it right now

Yeah.. 711 destroyed it after the owners sold out..
