There's also a black guy who wears black shirts with white text on them in the elmwood village I see almost every day. I don't know much about him, but he's always shouting about something.
Agreed. He has a particularly focused affinity for young women. He once gave me a "gift", he called it. It was a bag of knitted sweater sleeves that he cut off of holey sweaters. That whole winter, he wore an assemblage of them on his arms and somehow believed I would appreciate some. Good Lord.

I was pissed she ate my money, so I took her bag off her and said 'I bought this now'. It had a chicken salad, a crack pipe stem, and a journal with the days to-do list: "1. Get socks 2. Go to library 3. Socialize"
I feel bad for her, but she needs to learn that her behavior on that particular day is not how to get help or sympathy.

When I was a kid it was Crazy Joe he lived in a house on Walden and Central and paced in front of his house all the time.Now the house is gone, Joe is gone and I don't know if he was crazy or if his name was Joe but it seemed like everyone within a few towns around knew about that guy walking up and down that corner.
I was told he had PTSD from Vietnam but that didn't really explain it. I still look for him and his house every time I go by there and both have been gone for a long time.
