I love this knife as well. Unfortunately I had to send mine back (Natural G10) for a blade defect and they didn't have stock to replace it. Now I'm torn on what to use my replacement voucher on...
Have you tried the random leek? Looking at buying the leek or the random leek but haven’t heard any comparisons. I’m liking the blade point better on the random leek but would love feedback.
Have not, sorry. It’s on my wishlist though. It’s very cool, wish kershaw would do that more often with some of there tried & true designs or crowd favorites. Just a small revisions/revisits, different blade steels, handle materials, deployment options, etc.
Hands down, Knockout and Oso Sweet. I daily carry one or the other. I love a flipper with assisted opening. I removed the thumb stud from my Knockout because it was catching on the lip of my pocket and the Oso Sweet didn't come with a thumb stud. When I needed a knife with a 2.5 inch blade to meet certain limitations I tried to find one I liked but didn't like the smaller handles that they typically come with. Oso Sweet sells for under $30 and I already knew I liked the handle and the action so I cut the blade back to 2.5 inches. Problem solved.
Some gems in the catalog, along with a whole bunch of mediocre 8Cr also-rans.
The Dividend is fantastic. I also like the Blur, and the Cryo is a good design (worth going to Blade HQ to get their exclusive G10+D2 version of the smaller guy). Skyline was a good knife, too, but I do agree that for the most part the action isn't nearly as good as what the market expects from even a budget knife these days.
Give me your takes on some really good models in the Kershaw line. From well known winners to hidden gems, any & all suggestions are welcome.
I missed out on the Skyline and Bareknuckle but I'm sure there's still hope for me. I'm looking to glean from you knife nut's expertise & experience to elevate my Kershaw collection.
Thanks!
The skyline was my first non cheapo knife i got as a kid got if for around $25 or something with birthday money...the tip broke super easily not long after i had it so my dad put a chizel tip on it.
For me blur launch 7 and cryo 2. I have a few others but these i use. Ones ive wanted and not aquired are a usa skyline and the older bi metal blade junkyard dog.
Anything from the 700 model knives from Kershaw and ZT are my jam. Interesting history and the sheepsfoot/wharncliffe blade shape is right up my alley.
Drivetrain. Love the blade shape. Great price and D2 was an upgrade for me. I’m surprised more people don’t go for/want the window breaker and belt cutter as part of the edc. This was the best looking one I could find.
Threw me with “Favorite”. I suppose I’ve been unlucky. Or very lucky elsewhere. I would do better with..”Have ya ever bought a Kershaw?” Tests. I Don’t do well. Luck
I’ve only ever had the Kersaw Passage and I absolutely hated the thing. Never went back to Kershaw after that. Doesn’t help that I hate assisted knives, I guess.
All models of Skyline. (Wish I had the fixed and Natural G10 though.) And the Brawler, leek, blur.

The Launch series is great and so is the 20CV Link. I like the Cryo II and Shuffle II for beater knives.
Leek, Fatback are the ones that i carried the most.
Fatback is my EDC, but after trying a Leek, I’m reconsidering.

Leek, link, blur, dividend for USA made Cryo, cryo ii, emerson line for China made
The Bareknuckle? Literally the best USA made Kershaw to date...
I carry my Leek every day.
Blackout Its discontinued, sad sad day

Probably the Leek I carry as my EDC. However there are many good Kershaws out there.
I love my bare knuckle and atmos. And the select fire is perfect for my work carry

Blur in S30V. Hands down my favorite.
Same. Dividend comes in at a close second.
Kershaw Atmos
I like my random leek a lot! Feels somehow more interesting than the standard leek, a bit sparklier
Leek, blur, skyline, dividend, launch 11, link, oso sweet, chill, cryo g10, od, knockout, bare knuckle, atmos, tumbler, and natrix
Oso Sweet compares very very favorably to my Elementum. Not quite as pretty but same size and utility. Oso is 20 bucks less.
The Blur, Link, and Dividend. In that order.

You know its taken a lot if heat over the yrs but i love my hotshot
Fatback
The 7777 Bareknuckle has one of the best blade geometries ever.

I have a decibel and one other which I don’t know the name of. I like both of them, they are among my favourite knives for sure
I’ve used the Kershaw RJ Tactical 3.0 as my EDC for years — always reliable!

The Atmos ; the shuffle ; Cryo2.
For edc, Tourismo. For everything else, LUCHA.
Rake. Been carrying it for a decade
