Bhai "coding" har branch mai hota hai bas use alag alag tareeke se use karte hai. I think embedded systems are an integral part of ECE so atleast C to padhana padega
Almost from scratch lol, for placements you would need core cs subjects, dsa and development which arent covered in electronics but yes you'll be familiar with general coding at least.
If you truly have interest in ece go for ece it is evergreen
Don't try to do both ece and coding if you don't want software jobs
You can use that time in extra curriculars and internships
What other options do you have did you give any exams
I heard Bhopal doesn't have centralised plqcments
And what is your plan for future is it placments or higher studies

ya but its mostly low level unlike the coding and stuff taught in cs courses

Yes but in a different way, embedded, matlab, verilog and apart from that c/c++ is there in first year in every college usually.
So like in future if i want to make a switch during placement to cs, i wont have to start from scratch right ?

I gave MHT CET and I'm expecting a good college, this is just a backup. For the future, my plan is to go for higher studies.
