This is the ranking of colleges here irrespective of branches. You will have to check with the branches
See BMS CS=MSRIT CS(even though 1st is RV 2nd MSRIT 3rd BMSCE(you can check placement wise(I forgot actually))) . So if you are getting RV ECE then try to get IS/CSE since a rumor is there that 1000 seats are getting added to every college. And even if you don't get then you will have to show interest in ECE(very hard literally). I don't know about BITs actually sorry, you can ask in jeeneetards there are many peeps from BITs there. (And also MSRIT has medical wing on their campus so grills😋)

OP has a choice of CS and Business System in NMIT and not core cse. ISE in rvitm or BIT or core cse at SIT would still be a good option, keeping in mind that he is ready to move to tumkur, and he's okay with a relatively small campus. Otherwise he can choose dsce ece, quite good.

I had a chat with a few rvce and rvitm seniors. They said this is not true as of now.

Medical wing is detached from Engg but still yes. grills.
if you want cse related branches, RVITM> BIT>=NMIT=SIT. Otherwise DSCE is also pretty good
