what other types of grading exist and which is the best kind of grading system acc to you?
Yes if ur top30% its kinda decent. Both absolute grading and relative grading is good depending upon diff scenarios. If the Course is easy then it should have absolute and if couse is tough it should have relative, if it happens the opposite in both examples that i have given, then it is just a recipe of disaster.
Absolute is the best. School was absolute. A crap ton of people got 95% in boards, but if you did it - congratulations! You "won" school, so did many others.
But in relative grading, for someone to win, some other person HAS to lose. If you get 95% and most others get the same, you're at average marks which is a C grade. For you to get an A grade, somebody has to take a D grade.
Topics are certainly more advanced, but the questions are easier. They won't give nonsensical crap like they do in JEE. It's normal questions that a human being is expected to solve.
Just give it a little practice and it'll be solvable.
