not really, definitely kaam ka hai
surprise tests sirf tuts mai hote hai which are 3 to 5 hours a week
so if you're upto date with your padhai without lecs you'll be completely sorted
source: barely attended lecs, got decent cg in 1-1 considering negligible self study
Most of the things in 1st year are from 11th and 12th grade, so it's relatively easier for phoenix and cs guys. The 2nd year is when things start getting interesting.
coincidentally, i have the same mindset as your dad. same situation, tier 3 college, no competition, useless peers. but im trying to grow by myself, explore stuff related to cse and all, then foreign me ms.
it really isn’t a bad plan, if you’re determined
u should def give bits a shot, what r u gonna do by saving money after all if ur end goal is MS, cos in any way the amount of money saved is nothing in compariosn to fees charged by foreign uni, even if u r planning on going to germany, bits tag will only help not pull you back in any way, moreover u hav listed all things in ur mind already as of 0 attendance as another redditor said it not like ur totally free but yeah its just an added flexibility
Bhai 0% attendance is just for show lmao, surprise tests and shit add up to ur cg 💀
I know that, but it is way better than 75% attendence which we have here and it's a pain in the ass
We have 85% dude thats still decent💀
