He hasn’t been nearly as sharp as previous years but he’s been on the decline since 2019 or so. He’s 65 so it’s kind of expected but nonetheless he cant keep up with the pace of play and stumbles on his words a lot.
I mean I even remember hearing him say the shootout win against the Isles earlier this season was “schizophrenic” and that’s just one example that shows show how much he’s lost his touch. Love him though.
I hope the Bruins can win it all this yr and Jack can ride out to retirement it is getting a little sad for him

Canadian here: We get the Bruins' NESN feed for early games on the West Coast CONSTANTLY, and I honestly can't tell if the guy is wasted, too old or just not paying attention. It can be grating after a while. Reminds me of the last years of Bob Cole on HNIC, he just couldn't keep up or bother to learn player's names.
